I'm still pissed that they killed Tony right after Edgar. I mean, that's just too much. There needed to at least be an episode between the two. I knew Lynn was going to get it last night, but not Tony, and I didn't want Tony to die last night. He could have gone next week and gone down in flames while trying to avenge Michelle, and I would have been happy.

Tony's death just didn't seem realistic. Wasn't Henderson previously tied up and restrained? Even so, they'd given him an almost lethal dose of that torturing agent...and all of a sudden he springs back to life...kills almeida and finds some way to escape CTU? It just seems entirely far-fetched. i agree...very lame and unbelievable way for Almeida to die. Bad writing IMO.

Why the hell didn't the security guard make a run for the door? Even if they were locked and he couldn't possibily get out it's worth a try if you're just going to die anyway. Or run to the supply room where all the gas masks are? Once again, yeah it might not work, but its worth a try.


And even if he didn't try to save himself, he should have gone with Lynn so in case he didn't make it, theyd have a backup.

The writers just weren't thinking on that one.

^^ They were under lock-down and there was no where for him to go. I mean he went from staying in a room that was sealed off with air to a room that was exposed to the gas, anywhere he would have gone he would have died.

^point is, though, that he could go get attropine from the medical supply or try to make it to the room with gas masks. In either case, he could save himself even while being in the toxic gas, if only temporarily. It could have been enough to save them until the air cleared.

^^^ oh yeah and on that point, shouldn't he have had to have his nose and eyes closed? wouldn't areas of your body that expose bodily fluids to the air be suceptible to the nerve agent?

I don't really know it just seems that way. You get red pepper on your skin it doesn't bother you. You get it in your eyes or your nose it burns like hell. But maybe someone who knows more about this stuff could comment on it.

the effect of nerve agent is dose dependant, you cant abosrb a lethal amount thru your eyes, skin unless you get exposed for hours.
