I agree with the author of the technician article. Heckling and booing even a little explicative yelling is no big deal; but throwing objects and getting in peoples faces shows a complete lack of class especially when it is merely a Tarhole just walking to-from the stadium. If some Carolina fan is gloating down the tailgate or talking shit then i might pick up a rock myself but if someone is just walking down the road, show some fucking sportsmanship.

I proudly wore my Red NCSU t-shirt last fall when i attended the UNC v NCSU game; and do not remember being harassed at all by the Carolina fans.

I sat in the student section at Chapel Hill during the game when Philip Rivers led a second half comeback and planted the NCSU flag in the center of the field (2002?). We had all sorts of shit thrown at us by the people in the stands after the game as they were leaving. The only reason they stayed relatively calm during the game is because they were leading big at halftime.

Any claims they make about how they don't act in the same manner is complete bullshit.

how bout at the tailgate there's this wigger lookin dude (maybe 19 or 20) walkin down between the tailgates jersey poppin his michael jordan jersey. then when some guys walking in the opposite direction boo him, he bumps into one of them then turns and dumps his beer down the back of the guy's head. the best part was when the other guys turned to talk shit to him, his fucking dad came running to save his ass. then his mom made him sit in the back of the car to cool off, and when he went to the porta jon she followed him to keep him from gettin his ass beat.

i don't understand people's logic. i'm all for going on the road, showing school spirit, and wearing your school's colors. hell, i did that at ecu a few weeks ago. i got plenty of taunts/boos and such, but it's to be expected. i didn't whine about it in ecu's paper... or anywhere. you walk in the opposing team's student tailgate, you should expect taunting. you sit in the opposing team's student section wearing your school's colors... expect people not to like it. sit there with a low profile, be respectful to the home team, don't be an ass, and ignore confrontational (drunk) people. especially if your friend got you into the student section and you're not even a student... i know plenty of deserving people that were not able to go. and if you're a ncsu student wearing blue saturday... fuck you.
