This would be a draft where it would actually be good to get the 3-4 pick. Unfortunately, that means we'll end up with #1. Regardless, either Muhammad and McLemore would all help this team a lot.

Just not sold on Noel, even before the injury. I just don't seem him adding much more than Biyombo.

Zeller seems to be the no-brainer pick, but he's getting out played reguarly in the Big 10. Just not sure. Then you've got other guys that I just don't know much about: Otto Porter, Anthony Bennett.

Henderson is really coming into a zone. He's also Kemba's best friend on the team. Will be interesting to see what they decide to do with him this offseason. Might make us skip over McLemore.

Oh, and MKG's dunk was #4 on SportsCenter's "Top 10 Plays" for the month of February. It was the highest-rated dunk.

He should be in line for big minutes the rest of the season. Actually pretty excited to see what he can do (when you watch the Bobcats, you have to stretch for things to get excited about).

^Just checked the boxscore. Lord have mercy. That's the ugliest box score I think I've ever seen.

That said, Ben McLemore might've just cemented himself as the top pick. Wow that guy is fun to watch. Ray Allen part II

Kemba + McLemore + MKG + Biyambo would be a decent young nucleus, if they could ever find an offensive-minded big man to complete the lineup. Lots of athleticism in that group, and McLemore would go a long way towards solving their outside shooting woes.

Career high 35 for Henderson. Sounds like he was unguardable.

Warrick for McBob trade looking like a steal for the Bobcats. Dude can play. I, for one, did not know this.

This was also the team's 14th win. That's double the number from last year.

Pretty impressive win over a streaking Wizards team tonight.

Henderson was the leading scorer with 27 points, but Kemba was the story. He absolutely took over the last 3 minutes of this game. He had 9 points in that span and blew by John Wall a couple times (one of the fastest players in the league).

Probably the best 3 minutes I've ever seen the Bobcats play. No joke.

Bobcats win again, beating the Raptors 107-101. Big games from Henderson, McRoberts and Mullens.

What are the odds the Bobcats retain Henderson?

I hope they keep him. He's really coming into his own now that his 3pt shot is respectable. Really good defender and effort guy too.

That said, it really comes down to whether he wants to be here or not. He's playing his way out of Charlotte if he wants to be out. I'd imagine all the losses would start to take their toll.

Along with Henderson, they should really think about resigning McRoberts.

The team hasn't had a post player with his skill set since pre-fat Diaw. Some of his passes are downright Magic-esque. He can shoot, rebound, and occassionally throw down a nasty dunk. He's not a great defender, but he's smart and a hell of a lot better than Mullens. As long as he's not asking for $$$$, resigning him is a no-brainer.

We need ballers. McBobcat = BALLER

They looked pretty incredible tonight (albeit against the Magic).

Hendo: 34 pt, 7 rb
Kemba: 34 pt, 7 rb, 9 assists

Bobcats win their last game of the year over the Cavs. That gives them 21 wins this year -- 3x the number of wins from last year.

This team is still a long way away, but they're a lot of fun to watch. Getting McRoberts for Warrick was an absolute steal ... the guy does everything on the court: shoots, rebounds, passes, handles, and will occasionally through down a nasty dunk.

Gonna be an interesting off season. HAVE to get Henderson resigned, need to get McRoberts resigned, gotta make a decision on a few other bench guys (Pargo, Adrien, etc). Top 3 draft pick coming up. I want McLemore, but a (healthy) Noel could help this team a lot. We'll see.

And then, there's this ... ?

^^So you want them to re-sign Henderson (I'm assuming he'll be looking for starter money), but then also draft a guy who plays his position with their top 4 pick?

I'd actually rather them trade the pick or trade back, but I don't see that happening.

You always need guys who can shoot and quality depth in the NBA, so yeah. Plus Henderson is 6'5, he can easily play the 3 if we go small. McLemore or Oladipo would give them great depth in the backcourt -- guys who can score, defend, and finish in transition.

More than that though, none of the other top guys in the draft do anything for me. You've got an injured Noel who's basically a Bismack clone, then second tier guys who are big wildcards -- Otto Porter, Anthony Bennett, Alex Len, blahhh.

So if nobody else offers Bynum a max deal, you guys think the Bobcats would &/or should roll the dice and swing for the fences by offering him one?

Obviously would need to amnesty Thomas (finally) & let all the free agents walk (depending how much the salary cap rises & where they draft, they could still offer McRoberts a few mill a season to re-sign as well)

Just seems like the only chance Charlotte has to add a potential All-NBA player via free agency, albeit with the risk of his contract becoming an Amare type albatross

Seriously, though, I commend Dunlap for helping Kemba and Henderson develop into good players and for trying his best. He was always great in interviews, too .... not a lot of coach-speak. He was always just a bridge to something better anyway (and probably told to tank at times), but I thought he deserved at least one more year. He obviously knows basketball and is surprisingly likable (at least IMO).

But he had some major flaws. He was reportedly a practice-nazi and disliked by a lot of his players ... his rotations were mind-boggling (particularly with MKG). And worst of all, his defensive coaching was terrible. The Bobcats supposedly have great defenders -- Henderson, MKG, Biyombo, Kemba, Jeff Taylor -- but their defense was laughably bad for most of the year.

So long, sir.

I think noel, mclemore, and porter all project very well but its def the weakest draft I can remember.

We are in good shape right now though. Say we get one of those three guys, kemba improved a ton, biyombo is on the verge. Say we add jabari parker. Then we will eventually get a pretty good pick from Detroit or Portland probably. No bad contracts on the books except tyrus. And weve got some expiring deals like ben Gordon we could float for something

Step one : get top pick
Step two: sign Chris Paul
Step three: Change name to Hornets
Step four: hire Silas
Step five: trade top pick and Chris Paul for Kendall Gill and Vlade Divac
