I would go Houston

What about Houston (vs buf) or Detroit (vs Jax)?

Kind of a win-win, but I need points this week, I'm projected to get 100 points my opponent is sitting on 130 (25 from Arian Foster )

Still go with Houston on that one.

Pick 2:

Jordy Nelson v Zona
Randall Cobb v Zona
Doug Martin v Oakland
Eric Decker v Cincy

nelson hasn't practiced this week and is probably going to get limited play time, if at all

I'd go Cobb and Martin.

Cobb can still put up decent numbers with Nelson playing, but even if he plays he'll likely be on a play-count.

Doug Martin has been on fire, so gotta ride the hot hand. Just be aware that they lost Carl Nicks for the season.

My QBs are weak. (Newton, Flacco, Luck)
My WRs are pretty strong (Welker, Megatron, Wayne, J. Jones)

I was just proposed this trade by the last place team.

Newton, Megatron, Heath Miller

For

E. manning, s. rice, j. Finley

Finley would probably get dropped as Owen Daniels is my other TE.
Thoughts?

So you are pretty much trading Newton, Calvin, and Miller for Manning? Doesn't seem like you would play Rice very much especially with the bye weeks coming to the end.

I've never been a fan of trades where you are exchanging players at the same position, if you were weak at RB, I would counter with a trade that took either Rice or Finley out and included a RB2.

yeah, you're exactly right. the more i'm thinking about it the more i don't like it. Not to mention all three of the players I would receive have yet to have a bye week.

i just don't know where to go with it. My RBs are Gore, Turner, Charles, and Greene. I usually start 3 with one in the Flex.

Flacco has a great match-up this week, especially coming off a bye. Unless you could find some straight up RB or WR for QB trade, I wouldn't budge, unless you are in pretty bad shape.

You are pretty much in the same boat I'm in (my QBs are Vick, Flacco, and Dalton; my WRs are Marshall, Harvin, T. Smith, Stevie Johnson, and Amendola) except you have way better RBs than my CJ0K, Alfred Morris and Fred Jackson.

[Edited on November 1, 2012 at 1:54 PM. Reason : If Donald Brown is available, he could be a nice pick up.]

Have to fill 1 RB and 1 RB/WR out of these 4:

Darren McFadden vs. TB
Doug Martin @ Oak
Jamaal Charles @ SD
Randall Cobb vs Ari

Currently using McFadden and Martin, my other starting RB is Arian Foster. 1-point PPR.
Martin has been on a roll but Nicks going down has me a little concerned. And Cobb has been a strong play lately but not sure if I'd want to use him over one of my RB choices.

Sidney Rice vs Vikings or Josh Gordon vs Ravens as my bye week WR fill in?

I would go Cruz and Fitz... Fitz probably has the best matchup as GB defense is much worse than Arizona. That leaves Cobb and Cruz, both are going against stiff Ds but I just wouldn't be able to start Cobb over Cruz...

looks like Demarco Murray isn't going to play again this weekend @Atlanta, so I dropped Felix Jones for Dexter McCluster (PPR league) because I don't trust felix versus Atlanta's defense

should I stick with McCluster this week as my RB2 or try and pick up a running back off the free agent block for Sunday like Stephens-Howling, Ben Tate or Dwyer? Tate and Dwyer are both banged up

i have about 90 minutes to decide, think I'll probably ride it out with McCluster though

Should I start malcom floyd or lance moore this week? I need to make a decision in 10 minutes before the SD game starts..I can't decide since floyd is one of the only WR's left in san diego thats playing today.

Wow, looks like the last minute choice to start San Diego D instead of Houston is going to pay off! I still think Houston is going to have a good game but it's hard to beat 25 points...

San Diego's D has been pretty decent all year. Philip's shitty turnovers have put them in a lot of bad spots (Saints game).

I, too, started them last night.

Also got some good points from Philip for once. Hoping my other WRs step up to make me not feel bad for benching Floyd.

I just got offered a trade where I would give up Benjarvus and get Heath Miller in return

my current TEs are Greg Olsen and Kyle Rudolph. My RBs are Ryan Mathews, Doug Martin, BJGE, and Rashad Jennings

should I do it

Embarrassment of riches question:

RGIII vs. Panthers

or

Peyton @ Bengals

Seems kinda like a coin flip to me, but I'm waffling back and forth.

That's tough. Seems kinda like a toss up to me. I might lean RG3 (assuming rushing TDs are worth 6 and passing are 4).

[Edited on November 2, 2012 at 5:43 PM. Reason : lol, just looked at ESPN's rankings. they have them tied for #3 QB this week.]

^ Gotta go Mike Wallace. Giants secondary is pretty weak.

Who do I start as a kicker?

Jason Hanson v Jax (free agent)

Lawrence Tynes v Pit.

Tynes has been money but that Pitt defense worries me as far as the Giants putting up points.

i'm glad you don't have 2 kickers on your roster but are simply contemplating playing the matchups

i'd go with Tynes though...I think the Giants offense is good enough to move the ball between the 20s, while Pitt's defense might get red zone stops, forcing a lot of FG opportunities

Another question, this time at tight end:

Jimmy Graham v Philly

Heath Miller v Giants

After watching Witten torch the Giants last week I'm seriously considering playing Miller over Graham. Am I thinking too much about the matchups?

^ I think they will be surprisingly close. I'd go with Graham though. There is a good possibility of a shootout and his ankle looks fine. Plus it's fun to have your last hope going on Monday night.

I need 1 WR and 1 Flex from this:

Decker (Cin)
Austin (Atl)
Spiller (Hou)
Felix Jones (Atl)
LeShoure (Jac)

Also, has anyone heard that Calvin Johnson might not play today or will be limited?

^supposedly Calvin Johnson (aka Megafail) will be limited to 3rd downs and might not play at all. I'm watching the situation closely

Out of that situation I'd go with Decker and Austin. Maaaybe Spiller in Austin's place, but he's still splitting carries with Jackson. F. Jones is garbage.

For me, I'm still mulling who to start between Peyton and RGIII. Leaning towards Peyton even though the Panthers shitty run D makes me want to start RGIII. Thoughts?

I am inclined to say RGIII if rushing is worth more than passing TDs, if not I think it's a toss up, and in toss ups I'd go with the one that is playing at home, so I'd probably still play RGIII.

C. Johnson vs CHI
Jennings vs DET

Ehh...flip a coin really. I like ballard, but brown got more carries last week.

So is Megatron hurt better than torrey smith vs Cleveland or Santana Moss vs Carolina.

I also have BGE on the bench where I can move up Smith to Megatron's spot and put him at the flex.

Is Jennings vs Detroit better than BGE vs Denver. I don't know anything about Denver's D.

mike Williams or Lance Moore?

So with Nelson active, pick 2 WRs:

Hakeem Nicks (v PIT), Jordy Nelson (v ARI), and Larry Fitzgerald (@ GB). I'm thinking Fitz and Nelson...but Fitzgerald has just been so frustrating this year (of course Nicks has been too).
