Gasol to the Bulls.
That's quite a lineup they have now...if they add Wade, they are dangerous.
I know a lot of people don't like Wade at this point but he adds a scoring threat they need..him or Stephenson would be terrific pickups. 7/12/2014 5:48:19 PM |

although they do potentially have 3 first picks next season (will get miami's if it falls outside the top 10 & memphis' if it falls between 6-14...chicago can also swap 1sts with cleveland next season if chicago wants) 7/19/2014 12:22:46 AM |

No...they're getting the best deal they can. They're giving up a top 10 PROVEN player for possibly a couple guys who might not amount to much. They know other teams are looking at Love as the guy that will win them a championship....which is pretty fucking valuable.
They're doing what anyone else in their situation would do. 7/19/2014 12:32:30 PM |

Lin finished his annual Asia trip now. He has been to Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Guangzhou and Taiwan. The most hilarious part of the trip is he has to fly back to US when he was in Beijing and signed the contract with Lakers, then fly to China again. He was back and force between China and US twice in 48 hours. And he needs to stop at Taipei each way as a middle point because he is a representative of Taipei flight and he MUST stop in Taiwan. Dude is exhausted. 7/19/2014 2:04:00 PM |

Wolves biggest problem is that very one knows that Love won't resign with them and the Warriors have told the whole world that they won't give up Klay Thompson. That basically leaves them with taking whatever the cavs or warriors will offer and both of those teams know that they are good enough to legitimately compete for a spot in the finals without Love so they aren't going to give away the world for him. 7/19/2014 3:48:30 PM |
jbrick83 All American 23447 Posts user info edit post |
^Except that's pretty much the opposite of what's happening right now. Now both the Warriors and the Cavs are now starting to put guys in there that they weren't going to put in there before (Wiggins and Thompson). Both guys are in play now, don't be fooled.
They know they are contenders without Love (well...the Warriors need Love more than the Cavs do)...but they also know that he's the piece that actually makes them legit contenders for the whole thing.
Minnesota got lucky when Lebron went to Cleveland and made thise a two-horse race. If not, they would have been left with their dick in their hand with Golden State. 7/19/2014 4:57:46 PM |

as much as everyone hates to throw earl a bone i will.
bosh and wade will be different players considering all of lebron's possessions will now be re-distributed throughout the team. i think if spo lets bosh/wade assume the helm, they will play their way. with bosh being able to hit 3's i expect him to be more of a scorer and let mcroberts & birdman switching out at center to grab rebounds. i never watched nba when bosh played with toronto so i don't know his forte.
now the real question is. where will the tryouts end to decide the order of point guards. i can't wait to see how napier does in the pre-season.
i'll add this. to all the wade haters. they seem to forget the fact that wade basically ran the floor against indiana this past season in the first couple games like a boss.

^I think everyone's view on Wade is skewed by the fact that you know he's not going to play a full season. He'll end up having to take long stints off because of the wear and tear on his knees/body.
I thought all offseason that Wade would be a dynamite 6th man(think Ginobli). Problem is he still wants to be paid like a superstar, and he just isn't consistently a superstar(he can definitely put together a great game or two here or there still). Hell Wade looked like he had been drinking from the Fountain of Youth for a couple of games in the playoffs, then he basically disappeared. 7/24/2014 8:35:13 AM |
