You might change your tune soon, especially when E goes to kindergarten. Is he in Kindergarten? I have worked with kids for about 6 years now. the first three years I did not get a vaccine and I got some strain on the flu. The next three years I got a shot and had no flu. Last year all three kids and both parents I worked with got the flu and I worked the whole time because the parents were so sick they couldn't even get the grocery shopping done. Still, no flu for Elise!

Yep he is in Kindergarten now his immune system has held up pretty well. Jen had something similar last week that she is still recovering from and they both got the shot. Guess its just one of those things I rarely get sick so I take my chances and even when I get flu like symptoms they usually are gone in a day or two rather than weeks like some people so I just risk it.

I just remembered that a few weeks ago I had 2-3 blackouts. I could feel them coming on somehow. During one I was talking to someone on facebook and was like, "oh shit, i think i'm about to blackout" then I remember coming in and out of it for a few seconds and then I was fine about 10 minutes later. Somehow I carried on the conversation during this, but it was obvious something was wrong with me. Scared the fuck out of the person I was conversing with.
