Not much. They are a little sweet and have a texture that reminds me of cooked celery. The canned kind is good in stir fries or Asian soups. I also have some pickled ones I got a couple weeks ago when I made the type of ramen that takes 3 days. Those smell pretty bad but still taste fine. I think they have some chilies in them.

People are so weird sometimes.

About 2 minutes apart from each other in the grocery store, I had one lady tell me I needed to be wearing long sleeves because I was going to get sick. I'm wearing a heavy short-sleeve sweater dress and a winter coat and had taken the coat off while I was in the store because it was like 70 in there.

Then another lady asked what I was going to do with the beef roast I picked up. I said roast beef. She basically said I should make stew. I said well, I've never made roast beef, and I figured I'd try it. She told me I better not overcook it, then proceeded to talk for a minute about how I should freeze the leftovers instead of feeding it to the dogs, or I could make something else with it.

I get that they were probably just trying to make small talk, but I managed to make it to adulthood. I can usually handle dressing and feeding myself.

I think my dad is going to calmly remind her that she is planning her vacation very close to my due date but I honestly think it will be less stressful on me and easier for others to focus on the awesomeness that is Biscuit being born without her there sulking or obviously faking excitement.

Minus random nodding off for a few minutes I'm working on....5(?) days of no sleep. Honestly, I've lost count. LOL Today I feel pretty great. I'm pretty certain I'm going to crash for a solid 12 hours very soon. Probably tomorrow.

^ I've never had a problem waking up from ambien sleep. My issue has always been deciding, after I take it, that I don't want to sleep just yet so I wind up being FUCKED up and generally making bad decisions. But I haven't taken any in a month or two at this point. Good riddance. Yes, I'd rather do like above and not sleep than keep taking that stuff.

Hmm, maybe you'll get used to it?

I would find that even when I took it properly, it would knock me out cold, but I would still wake up in the middle of the night and not able to get back to sleep. Don't remember ever feeling wonky after, but of course everyone reacts differently.

If you keep with it, I hope your next experience is much improved. Everyone's first time is a disappointment.
