i went to look at a treadmill last night since a local place has a $4k model marked down to $1400. but turns out it's the end of the line in that particular store and only the store models are left. still thinking about buying it, but buying something with a scuff on every surface doesn't thrill me that much even if it is $1k less than the next one I'm considering.

We just bought a squat rack. The reviews said its paint gets scratched easily when adjusting the bars, and it now even comes with touch-up paint. We read that and thought "if you care so much about it looking brand new, you're probably not going to use it much anyway."

I really do get where you're coming from, but a treadmill isn't there for aesthetics. I say get the discount one and get your sweat on.

we had to go to 4 stores, but we found one in acceptable condition, finally, and even got $50 off

I was about to give up at the 3rd store, as it looked like it'd had a shopping cart run into it about 500 times and the 2nd store had damage to the display.


now i just have to wait til next weekend for the delivery, and try not to have a heart attack from inactivity in the meantime.

i don't know what your problem with it is. I have had no problems with hugging shorter women.

I mean...they have to not mind being picked up...

I love hugs.

One weird thing I have noticed about friend-hugs though is that for some reason I try to be the one with the arms on top. That is awkward when you are my size, and yet I still seem to unconsciously go to hug people that way. Clearly I am exerting my dominance.

This is the hug I have a problem with. I likes me a solid hug. If I'm bending all the hell over for you to put your ARMS over my shoulders or some something, that hug is worthless.

When I hug a tall guy my arms go around the waist. I want their arms around my shoulders.

But with an average height dude I put my arms around their shoulders so they get my waist and my butt is in grabbing range.

I had a client at the vet that would pat me on the head and say "good girl" when I got his supplies ready for him ahead of time. We weren't supposed to pull stuff unless a client was there but he was such an ass about things and was a friend of the owner so I just placated him.
