it's bad. I'm sorry to vent on here but it's really bad. she's going into surgery in the morning to put some screws in her hips to try to get it straight again. They dont know if she'll be able to walk again

I just dont understand why this had to happen. Seriously, it wasn't bad enough that she's had lupus for the past 20 years and then ovarian cancer for almost 4 years but no, she has to climb on a step ladder and fall.

I literally was just talking to her on the phone and she was great. I joked with her and told her that I loved her and then let her go to do other stuff and then an hour later I got the call from my dad. I'm just so mad. just so mad

^^ I'm so sorry to hear that, but don't forget how tough your mother is. She sounds like a badass to me at least. Also, I've seen 85 year olds get hip replacements or pins and end up just fine. I'm sure once they get in there and see what's going on, then everything will not seem as bad as the x-rays show. And lastly, I'm glad it was her hip instead of her head. Please keep me updated on her health.
