Beasley, Reyna, Bocanegra, Keller, Onyewu, Gibbs, Cherundolo, Howard (to Everton), Hahnemann, Lewis, and Convey are regular starters in European top flights (or promoted sides), and McBride is Fulham's super sub. Donovan couldn't even stick as a second half player at Leverkusen.

NOW EJ is coming in. It's like Bruce had to see a Ghana substitution to realize he could change, even though we've been garbage for all 15 minutes in this half.

There were headlines in Germany that bringing back Landon Donovan was the worst transfer in the history of the Bundesliga.

I would never say that Donovan isn't talented, but it means more to me that's he content to run circles around people in our rink-a-dink domestic league than challenge himself and try to earn a place in a European first team.

Couple that with his Leverkusen performance and you can see why there haven't been any transfer rumors.

This is the last soccer game i ever watch because:

*If i want to see acting, i will go to the movies. All any team does when they have the ball is flop, lay down on the ground for 3 minutes, get carried off on a stretcher and come right back in.
*The inexactness of this sport. Everything comes down to interpretation, from offsides to penalties to PK's, etc.
*The running clock that allows those pussies to milk the clock when they are "hurt" and come back in 5 secs later.
*The biased officiating.

The penalty kick was a horrible call, if FIFA is so worried about the reffing of games they will do something for next world cup about diving.. and I have questioned some of the tactical moves and subs by Bruce, I'm not sure he'll be with us by next world cup.. I think he waited too long to switch to offensive mode with us having to win and being down 2-1 at half.
