^as much as i'd love to see it happen, i gave up hopes of winning the division when we had 8 billion chances (it seemed like) a month or so ago to catch up and didn't. Mathematically its still possible, but from watching this entire season so far...

anyways, i hope the 'canes get to the playoffs, get the power play going, and do some damage

I'd kill for some consistency right now. We had a very solid effort yesterday, but only a little short of two periods' worth on Thursday. Brodeur had to work his ass off to steal a 3-2 game, and I think we'd have won it without that blip in concentration in the first minute or the slacking in the second period. *shrug*
