Just stating a fact, b... not getting pissy. I mean it's true. The Mets play well above average against the NL aside from the Braves and the Braves play about average against the league aside from the Mets..

That doesn't bode well for a possible NLCS matchup for us but it does mean the Mets will probably win the division again..

The Braves have actually played under 500 since their 9-2 start.

My statement about the Mets playing crappy against good teams was based on a story from Baseball Tonight (well not so much a story as a quick footnote by one of the anchors). I did not actually bother to look up how the Mets have performed against good competition because in reality it does not matter as long as you make the playoffs (see St Louis Cardinals last year).

The Braves need to just focus on winning the wild card. There is still ~50 games left in the season.
