^ HAH

And check out this very good list of 8 villains that could be in the next movie

Black Mask could be made totaly brutal, which would fit Nolan's theme well

and Zsasz sounds like a PERFECT side villain. He was introduced as a mob hitman in begins so he and Black Mask could make for an awesomely dark story.

I like the idea of Zsasz having a bigger role in 3rd installment. I still think the introduction of a Cat Woman, at least introducing her as a love interest (as S. Kyle though). I am kind of liking the idea of Ras al Ghul coming back possibly with his daughter being a love interest.

Any way to tie S. Kyle and Talia al Ghul as conflicting love interest for Bruce?

They've already covered the Joker and Two-Face, I hope that they avoid the rest of the villains from the previous 4 films.

seeing what he did with the joker, i'm wondering if he could pull off a psycho riddler without being dumb

all signs point to riddler but I don't see how it could work

also I don't see how "Riddle me this" could be made to sound badass

i dont think we will see the riddler, but if we did i dont think he'll be as goofy as previous incarnations. I think he'd be dark and subtle in his crimes, making the crime itself the riddle, instead of leaving flat out lame puzzles for batman to solve.

That would definitely work in the Nolan series. Make the Riddler some crazy killer like Kevin Spacey in Seven.

I also read yesterday that Bale has guaranteed that he'll leave the franchise if they ever introduce Robin. Nolan has said that he'll never show up.

Damn. I was hoping for Nolan's version of Robin. I was thinking Riddler in the next movie, given Nolan's penchant for Batman's psychological villains, as opposed to the supernatural ones. Clayface might be fun to do, but difficult to execute.

thank christ

Im seriously hoping for the Black Mask / Zsasz thing.

They could continue on with the whole, someone trying to fix the mobs' problems.

And having Zsasz cut himself after every kill, caling people zombies, thinking that he is in fact helping people by killing them.

Would make for a great movie.

Ra's al Ghul, the Penguin, or Bane would all be awesome for the next movie. I'd like to see the Penguin or Bane, but Bane mostly because he just owns Batman for a longtime before being defeated. Batman hasn't really had any personal threats in these past two movies, with Bane he's actually in mortal danger.

i've always liked the riddler, so that's kind of what i'm hoping for. i bet nolan could make him seriously dark and twisted.

also, i like the idea of zsasz, as per Munkey's post ^^^

No, the phone tickets are for members of the Marbles museum only (and you can only buy them on Wednesdays or something).

So either go down to their box office or suck it up.

I think we already got a decent Riddler with Jim Carrey, and I think it would be too close to the Joker. The other Batman movie also had Riddler come around in a decent real-world way.

Black Mask / Zsasz seems like a good combo, but all Zsasz does is kill people for the mob with a knife, so building that into a major character might be an issue.

^could be used the same way Scarecrow was. He was merely a pawn in R-A-G's master plan.

Zsasz could be a hitman for the mob leader who potentially becomes black mask.

i don't think having a 'decent' riddler with jim carrey is any reason to discount him for the next film. was jack nicholson not a 'decent' joker?

the riddler would work well in this world, only problem being what everyone else has mentioned - it might play out too much like the joker if you make the riddler dark.

could always just use jim carrey again, he could actually play a dark one probably

plus, i think its fair to say that nolan could manipulate another villain to make him work like Zsasz. He doesnt have to be EXACTLY like he was in the comics or anything.

Zsasz was a serial killer in the books, they introduce him as a hit man in begins, so he isn't just a hit man.

They could play on him feeling that he was liberating people by slitting their throats, sort of wanting batman to kill him like he kills others or somehting. Just thoughts.

The more I read and think about this Zsasz character the more I like it. I am a big Riddler fan, I just feel like many others that in order to make him truly interesting it would be almost like bringing the Joker back. But I will never doubt Nolan's ability. I was with him on the Ledge for Joker idea, so....lets ride out with the Riddler and Zsasz and a surprise re-emergence of Two Face

VOTE BLACK MASK/TALIA AL GHUL 2011!

though the more i think about it, Catwoman would fit in there better

have her work for him as a major league thief, then turn against him, then get captured and tortured by him, then at some point shoot him in the face

ties in somewhat to the comics, shows the dichotomy of catwoman, gives batman a viable villain in BM and a love interest in selina kyle

nolan could fucking rock that shit

yea...i think nolan could definitely pull it off, but personally i've found most all female villains pretty lame.

I loved Clayface in the animated series, but obviously that would probably be a bit of a stretch for Nolan's universe. I'm bored with al Guhl so please no more of him. The Riddler would need some readjustments to fit in nolan's films, adjustments which would probably make him too similar to the joker. But again I think nolan could pull that off too.

Though after reading the link above, i have to echo the the calls for Zsasz and Black Mask.

women villains seem to have no other motive than to win by seduction

if Nolan can make her into a real villain, more power to him

though she's already been tried and ruined, so I doubt he'd even bother

No Robin angle actually is disappointing to me. I understand the reasoning, but it is depressing. I love the Batman and Robin combination.

Oh well. Maybe he can get on a Teen Titans movie or something.
