^^ not a problem. we've been together 2 years. his child lives with us. a lot more responsibility than what i was used to, but i wouldn't change it for the world.

i'm not like a raging bitch over a ring or anything, we are not in a position financially right now for a ring. like i said he considers us engaged... we plan on getting married one day. but it's hard as a female to say that i'm engaged without having the evidence on my hand. first thing out of another girl's moruth is "let me see your ring!" it just doesn't really count without the ring. i was at a friend's christmas party and i introduced him as my fiance to an old college buddy (he gets his panties in a wad sometimes if i don't... boyfriend just doesn't have the same ring to it as fiance) couple of days later my bff from college called saying she heard i was engaged. i explained that he just likes that term, no ring, and she was like.... oh. it's just what it stands for really. plus i'd like to see that sparkle on my hand. i don't want a ring until our finances are where they should be though. don't get me at .0008 carat or some shit just because. wait until you can afford something i can be proud to show off.

^^^^ it's not a big deal. it's not a situation like "if you don't propose to me by such and such a date i'm leaving you!" i'm just emotional ready for it.

most girls want their life to go in the order of engagement, marriage, baby. of course thing don't always go the way we want them to. i can already feel my biological clock ticking. i'm ready to settle down and have a child, but it's not like i'm a raving lunatic over it. i'm content with how things are for now.

when i was 7, i went to some sunday school thing with this broad that lived down the road from me...she was kinda way more religious than me as a kid but my parents never really got me into that stuff...well anyways there was a guessing game and whoever guessed the number of conversation hearts got to keep them all...needless to say my guess was closest and i won...it was awesome
