"Not really. You have pretty awful rb's."

umm ok? I guess it depends on your point system.

Turner is the #1 ranked fantasy RB on ESPN standard scoring. Yeah, LJ isn't great, but Parker was averaging over 100 yards and 1.5 touchdowns in the two games before he got hurt. Time will tell whether he will be the top 5 fantasy RB I am fairly certain he is.

Not sure why i'm arguing though. I am happy with my team now.

As long as Jamal Lewis doesn't beat Plax by about 18 points, I should win my money league this week

In my other league I need about 19 points from Braylon to win which doesn't look too good, but it is a PPR league at least...zero points from Bobby Engram hurt yesterday, as did shitty performances by Fred Taylor and Willis McGahee...luckily Drew Brees and Thomas Jones kept me in it

i have a lot of questions this coming week because of byes for arizona and philly (mcnabb, boldin, fitzgerald).

1. pick three WRs (first three listed are my current selections)

muhsin muhammad
marques colston (Q)
eddie royal (Q)

roy williams

2. pick two RBs (first two are current)

ryan grant (vs. IND is gold)
matt forte (vs. MIN is tough)

steven jackson (vs. DAL)
laurence maroney (vs. DEN is gold, but will he be healthy?)

losing my top two WRs could hand me my first loss...

FELIX JONES OUT AT LEAST 2 WEEKS

Quote :
"Following his MRI, Felix Jones is expected to miss at least two weeks with a strained hamstring, according to the Cowboys' official website.

This is a tough loss for the Cowboys, and fantasy owners, as the dazzling rookie was expected to play a larger role with quarterback Tony Romo out for 4-5 weeks with a broken right pinkie. Fellow rookie Tashard Choice will serve as Marion Barber's primary backup while Jones is out, and is worth a look in deeper leagues."

Ok, waiver pickups for this week:

Brad Johnson
Rhodes
Matt Ryan (<--- Delhomme is my QB. Is this worth a waiver? They are on bye)

Who else are you looking at?

Thanks to that Brandon (I barely do enough to help you win) Jacobs performance I won this weeks matchup by 1 pt. Little did I know that Braylon Edwards would finally decide to EXPLODE after a disappointing season thus far. He was on my bench and I was kicking myself until Jacobs put me ahead.

I'd stick with what you have. I'd keep an eye on the injury reports this week for colston though. It almost sounds like they tried to bring him back too early last week in practice.

Yeah I'm hesitant about Colston now. I really wanted him back this weekend so he could get a couple of snaps in, get back in the game. I'm not sure I want him starting on my roster if its his very first game back. We'll see.

You're an idiot for benching Braylon. Monday Night Football, at home? You had to know that the Browns would come out fired up and score a lot of points. Or maybe not. Some people still fail to acknowledge the power of primetime home games.

I started Braylon over Jonathan Stewart and Donald Driver at the flex position.

Well, I was offered Romo last week, took the trade, but everyone in the league rejected it. So, I go and pick up David Garrard and Vincent Jackson (who someone released earlier in the week) off waiver wires. Thanks to them, and my opponents in the league, I managed to win by 16. So, thank you other fantasy owners in my league.

Need a WR for this week so who should I use my waiver on ?

Hester, Joey Galloway (due back this week, plus he's playing his old team Seattle in a primetime game), or some other darkhorse on the WW ?

Leaning Galloway, since him and Garcia always seem to do well together

early reports say Roy Williams has been traded to Cowgirls....if true his value goes up (long term anyway) and the value of Dallas pass catchers not named witten or owens sinks like a rock.

Roy Williams stock has sky-rocketed.
Calvin Johnson's stock plummets (he'll get triple-teamed without Roy or Kitna)
and Shaun Alexander still sucks.

maybe Alexander will have a resurgence in Washington...he won't have any pressure to contribute as the #1 guy...plus while he might still suck, he was one of the best RBs in the NFL just a few years ago, anything can happen

An idiot? Dude, have you seen any of his other games this season? Maybe I should have started him but to call me an idiot is a bit much. He has been absolutely terrible this year and I wasn't going to start him until he showed me something...anything. I had other options that have worked out well for me at wr so far, just not 23pts like edwards had last night. Anyway, I'll be starting him this week lol.

So, pick one:

Ryan Grant vs. Indy
Steve Slaton vs. Detroit

^^ Sorry dude, I got a little carried away. And yes, I did see Braylon play considering he's on my fantasy team. I was expecting the breakout game, although admittedly it was just a hunch.

I would start Slaton. After all, he's playing the Lions who are terrible against the run. The Colts are just bad against the run, not terrible.

Matt Ryan
Jeff Garcia

let's put it this way, that was so bad I am wondering whether you are trying to troll me or not. At most you should have traded edge and s-jackson straight up. To give up a top 5 fantasy QB with it? lol

Can you join my league please?

Just because someone is on your bench doesn't mean you should give them up for the first trade. You could have gotten more value out of Warner probably.

OK, need help with a trade choice, but first, here's the situation: I'm off to a good start and am tied for the lead in record, but awful in points. When I look at my team I want to cry, and desperately need to make a change. Also, TE's get a giant bump in this league, making the high end ones the most valuable. Basically, Witten and Gates will most likely finish the season as the 2 highest scoring players. Also, we have a starting spot for RB/WR. Anways here's my team:

QB: Roethlisberger
RB (start 2): Adrian Peterson, Edge, Willis McGahee, LeRon McLain
WR (start 2): Torry Holt, Joey Galloway, Kevin Walter, Bobby Wade, Reggie Brown
TE: Kellen Winslow

So here are the 2 trades that have been presented to me:

McNabb, Santana Moss, Roy Williams, and Laurence Maroney (158 fantasy points total)
for
Peterson, Roethlisberger, Holt, and McGahee (129 fantasy points)

or

Jason Campbell, Witten, and Bowe (159 fantasy points)
for
Peterson, Winslow, and Roethlisberger (128 fantasy points)

Obviously getting 2 awesome players in the first trade is great, and I definitely need the WR help, but the other 2 are basically worse than I have, plus I'm giving up more. The second trade gives me what will probably be the best player overall, and a bit of help at WR...but might not be the boost I need.

are you saying that Witten will be the best player overall?

I wouldnt make either of those trades...the first one looks better than the second, but that would leave you with Edge, Maroney and McLain as your RBs, which is pretty terrible

I can't give you advice on fucking weird ass scoring leagues.

And to the guy asking Slaton or Ryan Grant, you play Slaton vs. Detroit. They have given up over 200 yards/game on the ground or something ridiculous like that, and slaton is no slouch. You play anyone against Detroit.
