Ty Patterson, the Chattanooga player that collapsed, is alive and never lost consciousness. His blood pressure rose suddenly for some reason and he couldn't breathe. He probably had respiratory acidosis. He's at Carolinas Medical Center and in stable condition. That's good to hear and hopefully he'll be fine for the rest of his career.

SNY reported today that Jim Calhoun is retiring at season's end. Too many health issues, a lot stress related (and of course the three bouts with cancer).

Should be interesting to see what caliber coach they can bring in without the new practice facility...

Marquette - Nova is high level and good.

Really impressed at how much improved Marquette is from when we played them. Buzz is going to turn himself in to an elite coach. His team plays in the same way his personality is. Tough and hard.

And of course, I'm on record saying that if I could pick and choose ONE coach anywhere in the country to run my program right now, it'd be Jay Wright.

I hope no one is wasting their day watching Miami and Wake play instead of this.
