We play to our competition. We could have given the lowest scoring game in history a run for its money. Looked it up:

modern-era (3point and shot clock) Monmouth 41 - Princeton 21 On December 14, 2005

That was one of the worst games I've watched. Not a very climactic championship game.

Big props to Senez on the Tropic Thunder reference.

Otherwise, this game sucked.

Yeah I fell asleep about halfway through the second half Congrats to Uconn on winning a tourney where every great team was conveniently knocked out of the way for you.

2011 Tournament in summary:

An unbelievable and incredible opening Thursday of the tournament, followed by progressively less interesting games, culminating with the worst championship game...literally...ever.

I disagree. The first round was not interesting, but the second round to the final four was very entertaining. That's where all the upsets happened.

Still mad Dyson got hurt that year. Would have given UNC a game.

Anyway, big shocker but Nate Miles withdrew his statement and said he has nothing new to tell the NCAA. Broke fool..

in all seriousness and despite how shitty that game was you gotta feel good for a guy like Kemba to win this with such a young supporting group. despite Calhoun who I don't really care for, this was a pretty likable UConn team. it's crazy to look at least year's top 100 and see how many guys Scout had ahead of Lamb.
