^It'll be ok, I seriously doubt this is the last we see of Senator Cruz. He'll be raising hell in the House of Representatives and running for president for many years to come.

^ Senator Cruz is in the Senate, not the House of Representatives.

I don't think it'll be interesting at all outside of soundbites if that's what gets you going. Hillary Clinton is the next president unless she finds some way to screw up the lightest thrown soft ball ever.

^^but Cruz is mostly inconsequential in the Senate, however he calls the shots for the House Freedumb Caucus, which is basically the tail that wags the entire Republican Congress.

It was meant to be a underhanded compliment.

^^ is that how you're trying to explain off your mistake of a Senator being in the House?

You're far too generous to Cruz to think he's responsible for Freedom Caucus actions.

The good news is we are watching the destruction of the GOP.

I guess Cruz respectfully going about his senatorial duties is why Boehner described him as Lucifer in the flesh.

He met with the Freedumb caucus multiple times before and during the 2013 shutdown, days before the 2014 Immigration reform bills died in the house, he met with them throughout the almost 2015 shutdown, and then was outspoken (and I'm sure was meeting privately with them) throughout the Boehner ouster, then crushed that McCarthy guys chance at speaker. He is literally called "Speaker Cruz" in the papers and all over DC.

Get a fucking clue before you lecture

Looking at results for the congressional districts. Where I live in Allen County is where Fort Wayne is located (2nd-largest city in state after Indianapolis). The county election board site says Cruz actually won the county by 400-500 votes. It's in the 3rd district which was Cruz's best result in the state as he lost it by about 900 votes according to the Green Papers (percentages: 45.5-44.8).

Trump in contrast won District 1 which is the outer Chicago suburbs in northwest Indiana (Gary and surrounding areas) 64-27. It's one of the two districts represented by Democrats in the state with the other being District 7 based in Indianapolis. No percentages for it up at Green Papers.

Not a fucking chance. It won't be Christie either. I could see Susana Martin being brought in to help soften his image with women and Hispanics or somebodynlik Rick Scott who could maybe bring a big time swing state.

Theoretically Kasich could bring along Ohio, but I don't think you can add him to the ticket given how contentious the primary has been and how publicly Kasich has criticized him.

While I certainly think Hillary should win it, I sure as hell never thought Trump would make it anywhere close to this far. I wouldn't be surprised with anything at this point.
