2 things...

#1: I'm sure none of y'all really care, but my grade so far in my summer class is a 97! I'm pretty stoked about it! All I have left is my final exam and then I'll be done. This may be my most successful class I've had in college. I took a 5 year break from school. I wasn't ready for school when I was 18. I wasn't mature enough. I literally took me 10 years, but I'm finally on track.

People actually buy and sell used cloth diapers. Someone on my Facebook goes to these sales. I know they're washable and all, but that's just gross. Do you really save that much money? I thought the whole point of cloth diapers was you save money by washing your own. Why not buy used adult underwear for yourself? I've bought a couple used. You bleach them and then wash them in super hot water a couple times. I bought used to try a brand that cost way too much new. I didn't want to sink a bunch of money in just to hate them. I do prefer to buy new, but I've sold quite a few that I didn't like when I was first testing them out.

it always annoys me when people I work with make comments if I don't grab the donuts/brownies/cookies/whatever other junk food people bring in all the time (or grab more than one on the days I do indulge) or when I don't run to the greasy burger joint with them three times a week for lunch or when I take my walk over lunch whenever I get the chance. I always get the "aw come on you could stand to eat a few more cheeseburgers/donuts/etc." type comments.

The thing that's annoying about it is that I'm actually not underweight. I'm a short guy (5'8) but a pretty ideal/athletic/healthy weight for my frame and I'm pretty muscular too (think soccer or light-weight wrestling type muscular, not bulky) so it's not like I'm extremely skinny either. Do people think I'm growing to grow a few inches taller by eating a few cheeseburgers? I don't understand.

I think they just want to feel better about their own bad choices. If they can get you to cave, then they feel better about their own lack of willpower.

I'll bet these are the same type of people that say shit like "Why do they only make workout clothes in small sizes? Bigger people like us are the one who really need them." Like they think once you're thin, you can just stop caring about diet and exercise, because that weight is a final destination.

I'm wondering if they are misguidedly trying to include you on things they value as important in their lives, and haven't made the connection that just because those things make them happy it doesn't mean it's the same for everyone.
I've seen people who are heavy drinkers do the same to light or non-drinkers... not out of malicious intent but just misguidedly trying to encourage people to engage in an enjoyable activity (and not realizing that people enjoy different things and it's a personal decision.)

Hey I went to UNCW for undergrad, but not because I'm dumb. (or am I?) But I didn't go there right out of high school. I do know some smart kids from high school that went straight into UNCW at the time. I kind of didn't get it, since academically it's not that great of a school, but then I had considered it myself because it was close to home so I can understand why they did.

After I fucked up my GPA at State it was way easier to start over at a new school than try to claw out of the hole I had created for myself to try to get out of First Year College and into a decent major at State.

Equifax is fucked up and either has no clue who I am or has my shit completely mixed up with someone else.

Checking my yearly free report and have no problem logging in to the other two. Equifax, like the rest, asks 4 questions to verify who I am. Three of them don't remotely apply to me. Of course, Equifax thinks they do, because it won't let me login.

Somehow I took out two mortgages in 2011 and some random ass store branded credit card...and this all just magically showed up this year

Was starting to think I could go more than two months without calling the piece of shit property manager to fix the HVAC.

I am a complete fucking idiot for even hoping that could be a thing.

Now it's decided to run 24-fucking-7 because the thermostat has no idea what the temperature in the house is. I can turn it off for 15 minutes and turn it back on and it'll be lower than it was when it was running. Then after a minute or so it starts to go up again. I'm assuming there's a pressure differential in the attic forcing hot air into the walls and into the back of the thermostat, but why did that decide to start being a thing NOW when nothing has changed?
