Plato wrote about this thousands of years ago. The movie Gladiator talked about this. The tyranny of the mob has been the biggest problem in politics for millennia. The only moral solution is to continuously fight the perpetual information battle to keep people mostly moving in the right direction.

Really poor planning went into my 10 year reunion. They decided to have it the weekend before thanksgiving. Seems a little ridiculous to ask people to come to town two weekends in a row, especially if they are planning on traveling for Thanksgiving. Then they are asking for $100 per couple. That's a lot of money to go to a bar and sit and talk with my friends that I would hangout with anyway.

Reunions are becoming a thing of the past. With Facebook and other social media so prevalent there's just no need for them anymore. My 10yr wound up being canceled for lack of interest. Which is impressive for a graduation class of nearly 400.

I've quit cigarettes...well at least for now it's been 5 days since I've smoked a cigarette.

I'm now one of those assholes with those vaporizer things. It has a little nicotine in it so I won't kill anyone, and it still gives me the satisfaction of smoking something.

I know cigarettes are bad and gross and ewwy nasty, but damn if they aren't the most amazing thing out there. That is why I am now going for this next best thing. Which, I'm actually starting to like better than cigarettes. My cigarettes didn't taste like blueberry and pineapple.

I'm going to work on lowering my nicotine levels gradually so then eventually I no longer have nicotine in it. Then I'll try to work my way off this thing.

Until then I'm going to feel like a bad ass dragon with all the "smoke" that I blow out!

Well it smells a hell of a lot better than cigarette smoke. I also made sure I got one that didn't have an obnoxious smell. I can't stand it when someone has the cotton candy or something else really strong. I made sure I got a good whiff of it before I got this flavor. Granted others might not like it, but at least it isn't over powering.

I'm just ready to be done with cigarettes, but I knew on day three of cold turkey I was going to kill someone if I didn't have something, so on my way home from work I stopped by one of those stores and told them to rig me up, and quickly, or they would regret it...

So I got all of my homework for the classes that I'm taking. So I'm taking the night off, instead of working ahead. It's been a long week, since school started this week. Of course, I'm enjoying this pleasant weather sitting on my back deck and drinking a couple of beers. I really hope I don't get drunk and post on the forum for my one stupid waste of time class telling my teacher that I think he's an idiot. I mean he is an idiot, but I don't think I'll make a very good grade if I tell him he's an idiot.
I just think he thinks too highly of himself.

I have a question if anyone wants to give me advice. Also, I didn't realize that Verizon will only block a number for 90 days then you have to reblock it.
So back story, about 3.5 months ago I had to block the number of a guy. I went on like 3 dates with him a year and a half earlier and realized that I wasn't into him and broke things off. He would still randomly text me and for a while I was nice back him, just small talk. Well eventually he started getting werid, a little too attached to me and I had to tell him to stop contacting me.
It had been a while since I heard from him, then one day I get a phone call from a local company telling me he put.my name in for a free trial. I told them no thank you and messaged him telling him I didn't appreciate him doing that. At this point I had not seen him in a year and a half.
Anyway, today he texted me again. I was unaware that the block on his number had expired. So what scares me is that he had probably been texting or calling me this whole time. So I freaked out on him and blocked his number again.
Is there a legitimate cause for a restraining order here? Or am I just going to have to keep.blocking him every 90 days for the rest of my life?

I had my first prospective interior design clients contact me this week about meeting with them when they close on their house later this month. Even if it doesn't go anywhere after an initial consult, meeting with some complete strangers (ie not friends) to discuss doing some design work for them is exciting and good experience.

When I'm doing my homework and I finally think I'm done, I have a hard time determining if I'm a perfectionist and I am completely overthinking the assignment or I'm an idiot and completely did not understand the assignment.

Like this math quiz I have to do. To me is seemed way too simple but I sat and looked at it for a long time trying to figure out if I was doing it right. So either I totally did it right and I just totally understand it and I'm freaking out over it being right or I'm a dumbass that shouldn't have been doodling in class.

They keep mints and/or mouth wash in bars and whatnot. So people can freshen their breath before they try to put the moves on each other or network or whatever it is that they do. Or so people can go there straight from work without having to go home.

I think keeping extra things there also indicate that it is a "nice" restroom, and it encourages patrons to be more conscientious about how they treat the place.
