yea i plan to drive a few hours for this. Its hitting a venue about 2hr 45mins from my apartment on a Saturday night so its easily doable..I have no idea how fast tickets will go.

as far as the presale goes, I can't tell who that is open to. It says for atlanta the Sunny Day Presale tickets go onsale 10am Friday, and the tickets are open to the public on Saturday. I don't deal with Ticketmaster a lot so I'm not exactly sure what that means.

St. Vincent is touring with Andrew Bird. Not only are they coming to Cat's Cradle, they are playing two nights there. October 7th and 8th.

i have a feeling that show will get moved.. i saw them with Grizzly Bear in Talley Student Center a few years ago and there couldn't have been more than 200 people there.. i think Lincoln holds around 800, no way they will sell that many tickets

For anyone that cares the get up kids reunion tour has a stop at cat's cradle tuesday November 10th. I already got tickets for the Atlanta date on the 11th. (i would love to see them at cat's cradle but its over an hour farther from me).

they have lots of dates up across the whole country, so if anyone is interested, check their myspace. Tickets went on sale for the tour today.

haha yea. was tough for me too. the atlanta date is about 2 hrs 20 mins away and cats cradle is about 3hrs 40 mins away. If the carrboro date was later in the week (ie not tuesday) i probably would have just gone to that show and stay in raleigh.

we were sitting across the bar from the shoot/ we didnt want to lose our drinking spots...lol

he flashed the camera our way several times but im not sure if he was shooting close ups or what.

cant wait to see the video. awesome setting for last nights shoot. lighting and atmosphere was great.
