apparently according to the internets, the issue with the ipods not reading now is actually with ipod software updates

thats the rumor anyways, because downgrading to the previous firmware apparently fixes the problem.

i have a 60GB video, and i used to be able to plug directly to my xbox with it, play music, etc.

it was slow at reading the file structure of the ipod though and listing all the music

then it updated a week or two ago, and i didnt use it with the xbox for a while till the other night when the new upgrade came in, and then i plugged it in and it doesnt show up at all....and on the internet and apple forums they're saying its because the newest firmware upgrade for the ipod does not allow this anymore, whether its on purpose or not no one is saying.

i can't stand snowbound. however, we did play against some little camping bitches last night, and we crushed them at there own game. it was awesome to finally kill little bitches that camp in those ant hills behind the laser doors. when the game was about over and we were way up on em, they finally came out, and we crushed them even more....twas fun.

I'm pissed off at Halo 3 right now.

On the team slayer playlist my skill rating was 20 this morning. In 4 matches it's down to 14. And it's not because I'm the one playing badly. Last match I played I had:

14 kills, 6 assists, 0 deaths. On my team, the spreads were:

+14 (me)
-1
-11
-19

Every team I get put on sucks tremendous donkey dick. I need someone to play team slayer with that doesn't blow. PM if interested.

im level 40 on team slayer, but i certainly havent been playing like it lately . i have to get back into some sort of playing streak i guess. are you going into team slayer by yourself, cause i can never rank up that way. i generally get people who wont respond on the headsets and just renegade their way around the maps.

one of my roommates and i were doing team slayer and grouped up with two dudes we played against who did really well, we never lost a game after that. i am always down for team slayer, only rank 14 atm but i dont play as often. hit me up when i am on if you want to roll together, TJ Snooters is my live name.

Probably not. It does WEP, WPA, WPA2, but I assume what you're talking about is it takes you to some login page when you try to use your web browser and then makes you enter credentials.

This can be overcome by using macmakeup or another MAC spoofing program on your computer. Edit your MAC to match the MAC on the wireless adapter, log in using your computer, reconfigure the MAC on your computer, then connect to the network with the XBOX.

You can connect your computer in to the wireless and connect your xbox to your computer directly or using a switch or hub. Enable internet connection sharing on the computer.

If you're talking about using the switch that's built into your router to connect your computer to your xbox and connecting to the wireless with the laptop, then yes.




PS, Halo is really starting to piss me off. I stood on the overshield to collect it. As we all know, your health will continually charge until the overshield is full no matter how much you're being attacked. There's a guy right next to me unloading bullets like it serves a purpose (which I'm fine with because as long as I'm being damaged I'm temporarily invulnerable). So while this guy is attacking I shoot the fuck out of him. I shot him no less than 30 times with my battle rifle. He finally realized I'm not gonna die and starts to run. I melee attack him in the back. That's supposed to kill him instantly, right? Apparently not, because he lived. I figure it must have glitched, so I do it again. He's still alive. I do it a THIRD time, and he still does not die. Finally, I stuck him with a spiker grenade, surely that should kill him. But, no! He was still alive. Not only that, I got assassinated by someone else for my troubles. Then the guy that killed me shoots the guy I was trying to kill with a shotgun and he dies. WHAT THE FUCK?!

yeah...halo does some crazy shit sometimes, you have have to sit back and think "well that guy has probably been screwed before in halo, so that was me giving back" there's really no explaining some things that happen in halo, like getting killed by a construction cone after an explosion hurtles it at you at the speed of a sniper bullet...

This playlist will henceforth be focused on CTF (both One Flag and Multi Flag variants, as has been frequently requested) and Assault (One Bomb, Multi Bomb, and Neutral Bomb) variants. VIP is out, until we have some time to bang on it and get something we're happy with. No more Territories? Not in Team Objective. However, we are going to introduce a playlist called Team Control, which is based on zone control gametypes like Territories, Land Grab, and a little bit of Team King (but incorporating some suggestions to make it more about map control, and less about grenade spam.) We're going to see how people react to this new playlist, and play it by ear. We're hoping that the sum is greater than the parts here, and that some teams will find their niche in this playlist. Any update on Ranked BTB? Actually, yes. ??And for at least of few of you, it should be good news. In investigating ways to improve upon Social BTB's match quality, we hit a snag--it turns out that a key matchmaking setting (that restricts matching between teams of roughly equal sizes) is not being used in social playlists. Having explored the problem, I do not believe we can give you guys the match quality we want to without it--so, we will be introducing a Ranked BTB playlist early in the New Year. zomg?Slow down. There is a lot of testing that will have to go into this playlist, and because Bungie has some other irons in the fire (and a damned inconvenient Christmas-New Year break in the way), I can't get that playlist ready and tested before sometime later in January. haha aint no biggie man. the rankings don't mean as much as they used to.
i thought (and hoped) that standoff would be bigger too. honestly though, i like an open map that you don't have to constantly wonder where a sniper is, you can just haul off and fight. except for that laser

half the chances at another map got vetoed, tho i admit i was responsible for one of those. it was just frustrating the way it worked out. it's early though, and as usual they'll always have to tweak something or other. i think it'll balance out soon enough another playlist update coming on the 18th too i believe, which will likely help something

i'm actually a little disappointed with the new maps. they all end up turning into a no-strategy grenade fest where there's little to no skill involved. hopefully once everyone learns the maps there will be more strategy and less free-for-all.

and its pretty bullshit that the maps cost 800 points, but the minimum you can buy is 1000 points at a time, and the remaining 200 aren't enough to buy anything else. hats off to you, microsoft.
