Ginobli has been hurt for much of the year. He needs the rest, but that doesn't mean he won't get banged up in game 1.

When the playoffs began I would've said the Heat would win it all, but the Spurs have looked very good in the last couple rounds, so I think they have too much talent, experience and coaching for Miami to defeat them.

I didnt watch the game but i see that bosh and wade combine for
15 pts. UNREAL. Lebron will be blamed if they don't win.

I think tonight's lost is largely due to the absence of birdman and 1-8 FG of Bosh. Birdman will come back in game 7.

if there is one thing i have learned from face, its that watching the games is not only worthless, but it clouds your judgment

you can tell much, much more about a game from the box score than actually watching 48 minutes of basketball

I like following play-by-play, but watching the game shows that you are a loyal fan.
I think analyzing games and making judgement only basing on box score is who can't play bball will do. I'm attracted by those beautiful movements, learning them and trying to put them into practice.

i was quoting hibbert when they asked him why he thought he was 10th in mvp voting when he's obviously more dominant than that.

He can't guard LBJ yet. Still too young. But I like his passion. He already dunks facially on both Birdman and Bosh.

he's not too young to guard LBJ, he's too small

somebody the size of Stephenson is better suited to "try" and guard Lebron

Lebron is kind of unguardable without help

Lance Stephenson? They are about the same size, both 6'8, 230 lbs.
LBJ is 20 lbs heavier but still fast.

Stephenson is actually listed at 6'5? i don't buy that

he just looks like a bigger body, and he did well against LBJ 1 on 1 in game 4

but maybe i should just ignore all that and focus on box score stats

guarding lebron is all about quickness and length. most centers aren't even big enough to take lebrons blow and still guard him. did you see what happened to mahimi? he took lebrons blow straight up and ended up in the 4th row by the time lebron released the shot.

the key is keeping lebron out of the lane in the first place. jason kidd did a good job guarding lebron at one point because he was smart.

http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2013/story/_/id/9333733/2013-nba-playoffs-dwyane-wade-says-chris-bosh-need-bigger-role

Heat really are coming apart. Wade is saying that lebron is trying to do too much and that he and bosh should be getting a lot more shots if the heat want to win. Lebron says that they are obviously struggling so they need to stick with easy shots.

Be funny if lebron pulls a kobe in game 7 and doesn't shoot.

Is wade smoking something. Bosh and wade got 19 shots last night. They made just 4. 4-19 between the two of them. Maybe they should start making some shots and then ask for the ball more.

wtf? doing too much? Lebron is the reason why they won games this round. Lebron is doing what he needs to do. shit I think he has more techs than anyone in playoffs so far. Lebron will hook you up if your shot is there. ask Haslem.

^^^I want to see some new faces, like Paul George, Hilbert and Stephenson.

I tell you why ppl hate Miami. They think big 3 should be built, not bought.
Celtics' big 3 came together because they are veterans, they deserve a ring.
But Heat's big 3 came together just for money. They are wasting their talents. They should be separated.
On the contrary, Spurs' big 3 are built, not bought.
Among all big 3 s, I like OKC's best.

^ That's a clear layup.

I'm a NBA fan. so for me it doesn't matter who's in it.

1) all big 3 are "brought" in one or another
2) no one deserves a ring
3) OKC doesn't have a big three anymore unless you're including Ibaka
4) the Miami guys took pay cuts and so far they been in the last 2 finals. they won one out of two since they they got together. a more accurate statement would be the phillies or the eagles.
5) SAS has had on onslaught of players and they hadnt done anything in the last 4 years.

^how am i worse than aaronburro? I'm just saying i had no idea it was offensive to anyone and thought it was taken out of context.

aaronburro is saying its ok to hate gay people which i disagree with.

i just don't think this was hatred and think he was literally saying "lebron was doing something to him but not in a homosexual way."

if you are gay i had no intentions of offending you. i just have always thought that was simply a way to say you are straight. if i wanted to ask a guy out to dinner or to a hot tub or to sleep in his bed or take a shower with him i would say no homo just to let him know i'm not a gay guy trying to creep. I don't see how saying you're not gay is offensive to gay people.

or you could just say "no thanks", like an adult

"homo" is a slur. plain and simple. saying "no homo" implies that there is something wrong with being gay.

Why would i say "no thanks" when I'm the one asking the other guy out?

and there is something wrong with making homosexual advances on a guy who you know is straight. no homo (at least what I thought before today) simply meant you do not mean it in a sexual way.

if hibbert had not clarified that he didn't mean that lebron "Stretched him out" in a way related to homosexual sex i would've been very confused and thought hibbert was a homosexual and that lebron was putting sex moves on him on the basketball court.

People in America are such whiny pussies. Oh no Hibbert said "no homo"!! Stop the presses, people's lives have been ruined. 99.999% of America would not have even known that he said this if you liberals had not made a story out of it. All you've done now is introduced an internet slang term to people who did not know it existed and now it'll be used more than ever. GG liberal cry babies. You get you panties in a wad over meaningless crap like this, but look the other way and make excuses as Obama and his administration shits on the constitution. /soapbox

As for basketball, I'll be rooting for Lebron tonight. If the Pacers play the Spurs in the Finals, I doubt I'll watch even one game.

During the same interview, did Lebron refer to the media as "y'all motherfuckas"? The "no homo" thing is getting all the media attention, but insulting at the media is what caused the fine.

That said, go pacers. The post-game coverage if the Heat lost will be fascinating.

Want to see the Pacers lose. I'm so sick of the "media doesn't give us any respect" card as motivation. Most annoying thing in sports right now in my opinion, I'd rather deal with over hype from the media than players bitching that the media doesn't give them any respect. What, you weren't going to try hard until you read some guys blog? Get real.

I actually never heard an adult use the term "no homo" out loud in public. Maybe I dont hang around radical un PC college kids.

I wouldnt be surprise me if either team won. who ever gets it earned it imo. Last year it actually surprised me the heat won game 7 against Boston. I thought Boston would have took them out.
