The losses to Wake and Mizzou hurt. Both should have been wins but we threw them away. Neither is an impressive team.

Even those two wins with loss yesterday would make me feel a lot better.

NCCU is still one of those freak things I'd rather ignore.

These next two road games are going to be really big. 8-6 going into UNC at home. Finish with 4 winnable games where 3 out of 4 are at home. Important game @ clemson.

Yeah, but given that ~10 of those 37 will receive automatic entry, adding about 10 more at-large bids, it's pretty accurate.

The path to the Dance hadn't changed. Gotta win at Clemson and beat one of UNC or Pitt to feel comfortable about our chances. Otherwise we need to knock off one of the top 4 in the ACC tournament.

That list includes teams that will get automatic bids. So you would have to go through and take out projected conference champions (just taking the top team from each conference that has a team in the top 37)

So, taking out
1.) Cuse
2.) KU
3.) Arizona
4.) Wisconsin
5.) Florida
6.) Wichita St.
7.) St.Louis
8.) San Diego St.
9.) Gonzaga
10.) UConn

So 50-10 = 40, squarely on the bubble. On the outside looking in at the moment. Of course that is saying there isn't an big upset in the conference tournaments for the conferences listed above.

nobody has us in the conversation for the bubble anymore except dancecard. that loss hurt pretty badly. If we can hold it together vs Clemson we should be able to easily take down VT, Miami and BC. we should be able to win either UNC or Pitt after that and we'd be in the conversation. toss in a couple ACCT wins and we're in.

Mizzou, Wake, Pitt, and Cuse should have been wins. I'd even argue the same for Cincy. It sucks how things have turned out for us because we have the talent, it's just that these guys are young, inconsistent, and (especially earlier in the season) liable to succumb to road pressure and home traps.
