This is the second month in a row. It's still quite light and short, so not that big of a deal, but not having a period was the best thing about the IUD and if they are deciding to come back I am kind of

"so i was reading a makeup tutorial and they kept talking about bb cream...... what is the difference between bb cream and tinted moisturizer??"

bb cream is a beauty balm which means it has a lot of punch packed into that little container...lots o nutrients and great stuff for your skin. It's like moisturizer on steroids. Kinda like the swiss army knife of the beauty world. It has like 5 steps in one. It's a primer, foundation, concealer, moisturizer, spf, anti-aging cream all in one. It's definitely thick, so beware of that. Most come tinted, but you can buy them without color as well.

tinted moisturizer is just that....a moisturizer with tint in it so you don't have to go full foundation. It's great in the summer time when you want a little coverage, but don't wanna clog up your pores with thick foundation. Most don't have any bells and whistles besides spf

lots of stuff online about BB creams if you want to do some research, but that's the basic gist of it.

Dear Diva,

Please inform me of the school at which you received your lady training. I'm pretty sure I missed this.

All this talk of spray tans, I think I need to get my pale ass to the booth. How long after can I shower?

LOL I'm inquisitive by nature (especially about girly shit like beauty and fashion) so as soon as I hear about something new, I start reading up on it to see if I need to try it.

I also like trying new things...so that could be my issue too

they say to wait a minimum of 4 hours but waiting 10 hours achieves the best results. but the girl told me that if i start to notice i am getting too tan for my liking beyond the 4 hours, i can shower and it will stop absorbing into my system and just keep it how it is. it dries super fast and my skin felt a little weird (like a light hairspray coating) for about 30 minutes but then i was fine and haven't noticed. i showered right before i got there

they do a good job walking you through the process and having the proper supplies (hair net, barrier cream, hand sanitizer). i bought a 3 spray tan package deal since i will need to go back a few times and i think it's worth it. i am definitely happy with my results.

I do level 2 as well since I am palllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I think 3 or 4 would be too much. I liked the girls there as well! I am looking forward to getting tan tonight at 6. lol

Glad it worked out!! I usually wait to shower till the next morning. Seems to have the best results.

the black pair doesn't look special...it almost looks cheap

Louboutin screams special to me, so it better be a fly pair of shoes or have something that distinguishes them if they're a more "subdued" style.

I prefer classic shoe styles as well...but that shoe looks cheap. It wouldn't be worth the price tag at all. You could find that somewhere else easy.

I am a huge fan of Louboutin peep toe pumps as well as slingbacks in basic leather (good for work). They are completely plain, but just looking at them (without even seeing the red sole) you can tell it's a nice shoe. That shoe looks like it belongs in the movie Clueless.

HELP!! This is an EMERGENCY!

My mom is getting married today (2nd marriage, lol) and she thinks she doesn't need to go get her hair done. But if I have a place she will probably go. Can anyone recommend a good salon in Durham that doesn't charge too much??

Vent http://www.ventsalon.com

Kristie is the owner - very nice and does a great job. I bartered with her and got my hair done for free (I was working at a tanning salon at the time and gave her 2 free spray tans), so she may work with you if you have something to offer.

CROSS POST!

I need to find shoes (for my wedding). I'm wearing converses to the reception, but mom convinced me to get better shoes for the ceremony. I'm wearing a champagne colored ballgown, and you probably won't see them, but I might put them in my shadowbox or a curio cabinet afterwards. I'd like something flat, blue, and awesome. Any ideas? would like to spend ~100 dollar bucks.

big thanks to eggyeyes for finding it on the clearance rack

got it at belk...its Maggie London

http://www.maggylondon.com/daytime/pleated-metallic-dress/invt/gr295mxe/

I was kinda mad the belt was missing because I really like it in the photo on the site. I had to improvise really quick with a belt I already had.

Yay good for Holly

I wish I could talk myself into carrying one of her bags. Maybe I could do a utility tote for meetings or something.

I'm trying to get her involved again in this year's fashionSPARK so we'll see
