I'm excited with both.

Between Glennon and Amerson, we've got a real chance at an ACC Championship in football. If our running game comes to play, we're in that conversation.

Obviously basketball is hotter than Hansel right now, and with a preseason top 10 ranking, plus odds-on favorite to win the ACC, it's beyond my wildest dreams.



It's a good time to be a Wolfpacker, no matter what side of the football/basketball debate you fall on. We can appreciate both without criticizing one or the other.

As far as I'm concerned football just needs to keep making bowls and beating Carolina. I'm not gonna get upset with TOB as long as he keeps up the good work. Fact of the matter is very few teams have true championship aspirations and its rare that one of those will come from the ACC so I'm not sweating too much on football as long as they keep getting 7-8-9 wins in season and making tarheel fans weep.

So not sure if this has been posted or not, but Tyler Lewis was named 3rd team All-America by ESPN. Jefferson made 4th team and Purvis was honorable mention.

It's pretty simple; there are only 2 point guards rated ahead of Lewis and 3 power forwards ahead of Jefferson, while there are a plethora of highly-ranked shooting guards.

it's even more simple than that, really: tyler lewis was the starting 1 on an undefeated oak hill team. rodney purvis played at upper room christian academy in raleigh.

It's not that easy, seeing as how espn ranks lewis at the 5th point guard (and 44th overall), and purvis as the 5th shooting guard (and 20th overall).

your counter-point is a good one, but espn is not in any way disagreeing w/ itself, so that is not a good point. recruit rankings are projections for what you will do in the future, while being an all american is an award for what you have already done.
