my theme last night was using the pump shottie.

after vacants then wetowrk; i went to strike deciding to switch my level 2 perk to uav jammer and managed to rack up a 6 kill streak before i n00bed up the helicopter call. people did not expect a crazy sand nigger running through the buildings blowing people away with a shotgun.

yeah i was a big proponent of Shottie + Sonic Boom + Fragx3 on boards like wetworks, but Shottie + UA jammer is nice, especially for headshots

i must have been playing fucking neo from the matrix. there was a dude like within 10 ft me so i unload half a mp5 clip on him. no only does he not die but he takes a full second to react then kill me with two shot from his ak47

so i'm playing on that new chinatown map and i shoot a dude laying on the roof, throw a grenade through the window next to him, and then run up some stairs and promptly get shot, all in about three seconds. the funny part is my shot unlocked the blue camo for my p90, the grenade somehow got me the counter-claymore achievement, and then my martyrdom grenade gets me the domino achievement. after this impressive display of luck i feel like the baddest player to ever pop CoD into his xbox, until the match is over and I go 7-13

haha nice...the counter claymore challenge is tricky...i got it by creeping up into the building on Crash at the top of the map (right where you start, assuming you dont start on the 3-story building side of the map)...dude was crouched down by the ladder with a claymore near him...i crept through into the hallway and shot the claymore...that was on a previous prestige though

counter c4 seems like it will be even tougher

or the one where you kill 2 enemies with one sniper shot...i'm assuming you need Barrett 50 + Stopping Power + Deep Impact + lots of luck

yeah those two are mega tricky. I have trouble with the ones where you have to kill people in mid air. I'm not much of a climber/jumper

^^I did that with an M21 with stopping power. It was on crossfire and there were 2 snipers lined up in the bottom floor of the building that's along the Eastern most border of the map. It was more luck than anything, I suppose.

BTW, I'm SpydyrWyr on XBL if any of y'all want to play. Just a word of warning, I'm not "hardcore" and I don't take this game too seriously, I just like shooting sumbitches in the face. I guess I'm decent enough though.

theres a very easy "glitch" for the mid air challenges...on Bloc there is a staircase

(http://www.revolution.lv/cod4/maps/BLOC.jpg) I believe the staircase is in the building between NORTH BASE and WEST APARTMENTS in the corner...if you climb that staircase and go to the back of the stair landing there is a little pile of debris that blocks you from being able to go to the 2nd story...you can crouch down and just walk up on that pile and the game will think you are in the air...then just get a 2 kill streak

as far as shooting someone in the air, if someone is up there you can shoot them and get that challenge

I think lots of luck is the key part. I got it by shooting at a guy in a doorway and having an enemy run right in front of me as I pulled the trigger. I'm pretty sure it was on one of my rare ventures into hardcore, so neither guy got to see my amazing luck on the killcam which made me a bit sad, lol.

been killing it this evening. I totally dominated on overgrown, i think its becoming my favorite map. We got back to the lobby after the match and everyone on the other team was like "man we were trying so hard to gang up on you" I picked up like 4 elite challenges in in that match alone. it was awesome.

i got counter claymore, domino and I think how the ? in one. I shot through a wall and exploded a claymore which set off a chain reaction

and i got kill the other team, kill the other team without dying and something else at the same time on countdown once

and earlier I was playing chinatown and immediately some asshole jumps on the mounted gun, and I'm the only one trying to get him off it, so I run around the left side behind a, by this time he knows I'm coming. So we're shooting at each other between the statues right behind a, so i run out of ammo and say fuck it, ima run and jump off the stairs, and what do you know he comes that way, i jump and stab him in the head

I just went 25-9 on downpour and got mg master, no secrets, afterburner and air superiority. We lost 200-199.

near the end I jumped on the mounted gun, got an 11 kill streak and helped the huge comeback we made, down 131-80 at one point.

for some reason the last several battles i've had on that map have centralized on that barn in the north corner near the greenhouses. makes for some pretty intense moments.

i know i had to have pissed off this one n00b last night after i got back drunk from the bars. I killed the guy 4 times in a row w/o even using my gun on STRIKE. The first time i was near Saddam's house in "da hood" reloading and i see this guy run by me w/o even noticing i'm there. So i chase after him up and stab him while he is heading toward marine spawn. Following i continue my journey to the op-for side and plant a claymore in the marketplace area.

At this point i see on my radar someone is sniping in "Bin Laden's" house near op-for spawn. So i sneak in there to find the same n00b stabbing him again. I guess at this point he wants revenge and so while i'm camping out in Bin Laden's house i hear my claymore go off killing the guy a 3rd time.

Surely he was trying to be sneaky so being still in bin ladens house i see him creeping through the courtyard (containing the statue) so i toss a cooked grenade behind the dumpster from the 2nd story window and kill they guy again.

He surely did not deserve his level 1 prestige.

hahah i was on that n00bs end last night in a match on strike. I found a guy camping in bin laden's house and went after him 4 consecutive times and each time he had relocated to a different corner and would just unload a clip on me while crouched. (for some reason i couldn't get him with frags). Finally i took one other guy with me and had him go up first and die and as soon as he did i rounded the corner and gave the guy a swift clip from my Deagle ending his run. It was frustrating but i had to get that fucker, he made me so mad.

i was deeply satisfied when w/ my silenced M4 + extreme conditioning i quickly sprinted from the op-for spawn through coffee shop and hotel at the very beginning of the round. I entered the diner via the ladder on the bus side of the road sneaking around the 2nd story i entered a room to my amusement finding 3 marines with their backs turned 2 sniping and one jackign off for all i knew; quickly spraying them all down. Managed to hold the diner by myself w/ the help of a claymore kill until i got my heli support then died.

if i go upstairs in the diner, i like to set a claymore near the ladder and one by the stairs...if you position yourself right you can put them on the edges of the tabletops and they're a little harder to see

yeah...if you have ever noticed though, they last about 2-3 seconds after the person dies

sidenote: they obviously last longer if you have last stand since you're death is generally delayed a bit...but also if you have last stand, you can stab people...i got killed and went into last stand in some crowded staircase or something and the enemy ran up the stairs and i stabbed him to death

i heard about some glitch where if you pick up a rifle or SMG or something in exchange for your pistol right as you're about to go into last stand (i think thats how you do it) you can do last stand with a machine gun or whatever other gun you have

i think it makes you take out a 1911 or M45 by default (one of the 2 default pistols)...i think with the glitch you have to be swapping guns as you die

tried out a new kit today worked well in china town


M1200 w/ Overkill and a G3 as secondary.

Got the shotgun for raiding the buildings then i can pull out my G3 to pick up someone in teh streets or poking their head out another window. Also, useful when i get a shitty spawn so i am not a fish in a barrel running through the open areas.
