Since there's the hole in the CBA that we can trade him then resign him in the summer, why can't he do what will help us long term and let us take advantage of his value and get some good future stuff (picks, prospects, whatever). I wish we could trade Cullen+Whitney to Washington and get Carlson+salary dump (I'd take on salary after watching him in the WJCs). Though I doubt it'll happen, it'd be pretty awesome. We have 2 people with any value right now with expiring contracts, Whitney and Cullen, why in such a crappy year (when he can easily come back over the summer) does he want to stay with this sinking ship?

Also Corvo needs to heal faster so we can trade him too. Bag of pucks if he's hurt still, whatever, I doubt we can resign him in the off season anyways as he'll want $Texas and we'll offer $Delaware like always (unless you're Staal or Ward, then you get $Alaska).

I think we drank all the beer in Nashville.

Had a lot more fun than I thought we would find. Every bar has live music on Broadway. It was a bit touristy but still a blast. The seats were ridiculous. TKO tossed Sweden the Brind'Amour goal puck, that was pretty awesome. Saw a good mix of Canes fans and met up with a crew of them after the game.
