can you point to where I said anything about TOB being excused for inheriting shitty recruits? I don't care what players you have, HC is responsible for the W-L column regardless. You don't accidentally win an SEC championship or go 10-1, it doesn't mean you're some amazingly great great coach for doing it either, for that matter.

Also, for the record, my username and major are unrelated, but good try, really.

ha, our ex head coaches since dick sheridan have literally 0 to offer to anybody:

damn packboozie, why you going to pull me into it? i honestly wouldn't be totally upset if he was gone, i just know that'd mean at least a few more years of shit. i just think "fans" who vociferously call for a coach's head during the season, especially in the beginning of the season, are douch-bag jerks. but it was funny to watch you jump completely from one side of the fence to the other after the Wake game.

^^ ill just take Norm Chow and that DC we had when we had the best defense in the history of defenses. Actually, i wish BC would fire Spaziani so we can get him. Maybe that's the mojo that TOB is missing.

^ Reggie Herring is the DC you are referring to. I wonder if Spaziani would be interested in rejoining TOB assuming he gets canned.

Interesting how that "terrible" wake forest team is beating FSU handily right now. Maybe that loss wasn't as bad as everyone was thinking?

I said when we lost to them that they weren't the doormat people thought. Anytime you have a QB as crafty as theirs, you're going to have a shot to be good. They're weak on both lines, but they've got some great skill players -- Givens, Harris, Campanaro (sp?).

Pretty fun team to watch.

if we lose to CMU, we could very well end up in ESPN's bottom 10. and it might not be at the #5 spot

i guess florida state is the doormat too. lol. all those professional paid analysts predicting them to be a top 5 team and all still losing to wake as bad as we did even without as many injured players.

you get some award for being a dumbass though. (your secret [of being a sour closet homo black guy who enjoys beating off to jazz in the dark and trolling wolfpack forums] is safe with me)

face and them are right guys. Last year was different. Last year every team in our division sucked so we could afford to lose. We also could afford to lose more games because we had the tie breaker over FSU. Florida state aint fuckin around this year if you haven't heard. Many people have them as a national title contender. Even if we somehow beat them, our odds of not losing two games are slim. We do have a chance though if we beat them at their place.

I look at it from a combined probability point of view. Whats the most hopeful chance of us winnign at FSU? I'd say 1 in 4. that means 25%. If you compound that with the most hopeful chance of us only losiing one game more than FSU I'd say that one is 1 in 4 as well. That brings us down to 6.25% chance of winning the division and thats all assuming the liberty game was a fluke and we are as good as last year.

If we lose to wake that 1 in 4 chance of having only one more loss than FSU tunrs into something like 1 in 10. which means if we lose to wake, we have like a 2.5% chance of winning the division.

I know you aren't real and all but please STFU. Is Wake going to beat us again? We play OU? Last year we lost 4 games and they were all "tight", still doesn't mean we didn't lose. And yet a few posts up you were talking about moral victories. Someone end this motherfucker.

Its obvious now. We are doing things with too much risk of injury during practice. There shoulnd't be anything going on during warmups where a guy can suffer a concussion. Very irresponsible coaching.

There were two players involved. A player did a celebratory headbutt after a successful catch in warm ups, unfortunately for him he wasn't wearing his helmet.

Either that or Larry, Curly, and Moe are our strength and conditioning coaches.

Athleticism and doing crap are directly correlated. I rather have a football team than a group of first-class citizens. Elite athletes see these things and make a note to themselves to never play for TOB unless they want to be "church kids". Its too bad kids like Tebow are rare or we would have good players to recruit.

Our only two elite players are out right now because of TOB's bullshit standards.

[Edited on October 22, 2011 at 4:11 PM. Reason : Tebow would get kicked out for missing practice while on a mission]

yeh man. there comes a point where you are either retarded/don't have confidence/ are scared of something/ know your team sucks ass/ can't decide what to do so you remain nuetral

OR

you are literally setting up the most trick filled, fakery fluttered, balls to the wall absolutely epic go for it on every 4th down game of your life

and i don't see the latter ever happening.

Why does the fire Archer thread get locked every time?

He had a back track record at Kentucky coming in and has sucked since he arrived.

I don't get it. Firing him and getting Spaziani may be the only way TOB is back.
