cmon now. take off the state blinders sjust for a minute and realize sheed was one of the best big men in the league for about 5 years and dominant on defense.

Tayshawn prince detsroyed kobe? ya right. They umbrellaed kobe that entire series.

Which brings up another point. Jordan never had to play agaisnt illegal defense where youcould just run 2 guys at him without giving up an easy dunk. If they had the illegal defense rule, you could stick an artest in the weak corner and you wouldn't be able to double kobe until it was too late. His assists would've been for dunks or 3s by fisher instead of artest always being open for 3. Also getting the ball in good position on the baseline is easier to prevent now. Thats just somehting to point out. It made it much easier for a scorer to go off.

People also forget that Kobe played this whole time with a broken shooting finger and messed up knee. They chalked it up to "age"

even at age 35, rasheed was dominating gasol for stretches of that game in the 1st half who is the best big guy in the league right now, the guy is a top 100, maybe even top 50 or 25 all time talent guy in the nba, but obviously his career never lived up to that, if he's finished now then it's an end to one of the most enigmatic careers in nba history
