3 points for Arsenal. Another early goal from Theo then nothing.

But points are the only thing that matter.

Mirror's top story was United will court Bale hard.

Levy wouldn't sell to United like Gazidis did anyway, but it is surprising that United would have any interest considering it would ruin their team of all homegrown players that just won a title.

(United win today means Arsenal can't finish lower than fourth if they win out)

The Mirror have also claimed Modric, Ronaldo, Isco, and Falcao will be joining too.

Don't let reality get in the way of selling a few papers.

This man knows from experience.

I'm not a United hater like most here, and would love to see Ronaldo back. Mainly to watch him play in my favorite league again.

For what's its worth, I'm not a United hater. I don't like SAF all that much but that happens when someone wins a lot. And I don't like RvP. Those asides, I enjoy the way they play and respect the way they to about things as a club.

I just can't stand the jersey lovers who think they are pure and do no wrong.

* and go United today!!

I've enjoyed the EPL for a long time and still can't figure out who to throw my allegiance towards. It can be nice though, getting to enjoy the great moments/players from an "objective" perspective.

If Howard Webb didn't have the clean shaven bald look going, people would consider him a terrible ref.

Lindegaard was the only player who would have even considered giving a shit today... that was a savable shot from Mata.

I didn't see her touch her back pocket. They probably had a short discussion by my thinking is Howard Webb probably saw it pretty clearly and made that decision himself.

I am not mad that we lost, the players clearly weren't sharp or up for this but I am fuming at that classless twat Luiz though. Shit player with a fantastic shot and that's all he has going for him. His defending is based on fouling incessantly. How he doesn't get a card every match is beyond me.

What's the story with Ian Wright? Seemed to have it out for United.

Chelsea earned that win. Feel badly for Spurs. Wanted to see Dempsey in the Champions League.

Elbowing players constantly, fouling when he is beat, and acting like a petulant twat. Shite player. Ray Wilkins just gave a spot on analysis of the cunt. Fits in perfectly next to John Terry.

If Spurs win out they're in over Arsenal. If Arse or Chelski drop points it gets easier.

Arsenal needs help now with that result

Chelsea only need 2 wins in 3 to qualify and Spurs control their own destiny with that game in hand.

Wednesday should be mighty interesting. Chelsea is dealing with fixture congestion playing their third game in the last 7 days having already beaten Basel and Manu, then they have Villa on Saturday too. Regardless, it is going to take everything we've got walk away with 3.

[Edited on May 5, 2013 at 7:45 PM. Reason : It would play in Spurs' favor if Sunderland can beat Stoke tomm too]

^^ How? If Stoke loses they still need points to avoid relegation, especially since Wigan doesn't play at Arsenal until midweek next.

I certainly wouldn't want to travel to that shithole at Stoke knowing they need a result.

Stoke is in 11th 5 points above the drop zone and has goal diff on almost everyone in that battle while Sunderland is only 2 points above in 16th.

My rationale is that I want them both safe from relegation before they play Spurs to take some of the desperation off the match on their end. So, if Sunderland wins today it takes some of the pressure off.

On top of that, a Sunderland win puts Newcastle on the edge of relegation at 17th and I'm hoping they need points the last matchday vs Arsenal.

I hope they draw today which puts Stoke home and dry and Sunderland beats Southampton to put them safe for the last game of the season.

24 hours out...

I've not heard or read a single talking head pick Spurs tomorrow.

I've been around sports for 30 years at this point and the one constant is that when literally everyone agrees about what will happen, FADE.

Bring it.

@SwansOfficial: Itay Shechter gets his first goal for Swansea as his shit flys past Joel Robles and into the far corner. Good response from the visitors.
