19-12 puts us at 61 rpi entering the ACC Tournament. We'd have to make the Championship game to get in with that

In other words, we need to knock off one of UNC/Pitt without messing up against Miami or BC. That puts us at an RPI around 53, which I think 2 wins would put us in the Tourney with

we were in the high 20s to low 30s RPI at this point last season

we're in the mid 50s right now. generally, power conference teams will get in with an RPI in the 40s as long as they don't greenberg their OOC schedule

we have a better chance of making the tournament this year than we did of missing it last year. neither numbers were/are very high

we can still get in. Just need to win out. 10-3 over our final 13 with wins over two Top 50 RPI teams would atleast put us squarely on the bubble. At that point, win the first game of the ACC Tourney(would be tough) and we're in. I don't see it happening and see us as a 2-3 seed in the NIT.

we'd be lucky to get into the NCAAT at this point unless we beat both UNC and Pitt. We were barely on the bubble before clemson and the loss really set us back a looooong way.

There are a metric fuckton of teams on the bubble, most with better resumes than us.

At this point we are being projected a 5 seed in the NIT.

Just stop....cheering for our team? We're not betting on them man, just hoping for the best. This is why CB is better than CF - after 1 loss in CF (for us) there really is zero hope, and that tends to happen in the first 1-2 games of the season. If someone is betting on us, then I agree, just stop.

5 more wins gets us in with the weak bubble. 4-0 & quarterfinals appearance, 3-1 and semifinals, 2-2 & finals or acc champ. I don't see any of those happening, and likely only see us winning 3 more games, but it's certainly not "over".

We have to win out and get at least two wins in the ACC tourney and one of those ACC tourney wins be a Duke/UVa/Cuse/UNC win.

If we finish 10-8 and have a big ACC tourney win...I think it puts us directly on the bubble. I think if we go 10-8 and make the ACC tourney finals...that puts us on the good side of the bubble.

If we win the ACC tourney...I think we're in.
