That game sucked. I'd like to think that it would have been a different game if Oregon didn't drop those two early wide open passes on third down...but they just couldn't do shit against Ohio State's run game. Their d-line got dominated.

I like how the SEC keeps losing a bit of its luster as the supreme king of college football. Not only did the lowly ACC and Big Ten win the last 2 titles, but shitty Florida got to see their former coach win it all last night, while the Gators themselves had a mediocre season highlighted by a bowl win over the 4th best program in North Carolina.

oregon looked like i thought they would against a D line that was better than anything they saw all year. and they couldn't slow down the run like many that came before them - Virginia Tech and Navy were the only teams to hold Ohio State under 200 yards rushing this year.

yeah, they had those dropped 3rd down passes. but they were also gifted 4 turnovers, only one of which was actually forced, mind you

in the end, when you can't establish the run because you're getting eaten alive in the trenches and your WRs aren't getting as wide open because the defense doesn't have to sell out for run support, you not going to win a lot of games, regardless of what hardware the QB may have garnered

Fucking hate Urban Meyer's corrupt ass and of course no one like OSU or their fanbase. Damn you Oregon. I am interested to see how the QB situation shakes out at OSU now though. Greatest group of QBs ever on a team at the same time? Can't remember who was all on the USC team at the same time a few years back - like Leinart, Sanchez, and Barkley maybe??
