So these new weapon unlocks will be available for use in regular BF2 servers? So that means that if I don't have SF and I am in a regular server, then I kill someone with a new upgrade and take his kit, I can use it? That would mean that all the files and data for the new guns would be installed somewhere in my BF2 directory.11/23/2005 7:19:26 AM |

I know someone made a list in the forums at http://www.bf2s.com, but I can't find it right now. That's pretty much the only place I go now to get stats and info on the games. I go to PlanetBattlefield to laugh at people bitching about the game.

Interesting choices. I was kinda hoping to see a P90 in there somewhere, but I'm pleased with the SCAR-L and G36E. Has anyone unlocked these yet? 11/29/2005 8:14:28 AM |

Ok, I was playing the other night and I kept blowing up the enym forces artillery. I'd go back like 4 or 5 minutes later and all 3 arty pieces would be back up and running. Is the artillery self-repairing or is there just a really good engineer? 11/29/2005 10:03:54 AM |

Not sure, also, on wake 2007, if you capture the enemy airfield (when you're USMC) does the UAV trailer and arty still remain on the enemy's side? 11/29/2005 11:30:49 AM |
Wraith All American 27257 Posts user info edit post |
It is a glitch on that map. They can still use it if you capture their airfield but if you try and destroy the assets after the base has been captured, you get team damage. You can blow them before you capture the assets though. 11/29/2005 11:56:11 AM |

Say you know someone that has Special Forces. Say they log into your account from Special Forces and unlock some weapons (I know that there are I think two or three weapon unlocks you can get right away in SF), then logout. Would you be able to log into your account from BF2 and choose those weapons? 11/29/2005 3:21:32 PM |

The MP7 was my favorite weapon in Raindow 6: Raven Shield
But since it's an engineer's weapon, it'll probably suck in BF2 11/29/2005 4:05:04 PM |

In regard to my previous post about unlocking the special forces weapons with just regular BF2 installed, I have looked in a few BF2 forums and some people there report that it does in fact work. So essentially if anyone you know has SF, all they have to do is sign into your account, play for a few mins on a server, unlock the guns you want and that's it, you can select the guns when you play in regular BF2 servers.
So... anyone have SF and would be willing to help out with some unlocks? 11/30/2005 3:27:34 PM |

it's what the US military is shifting to in the next weapons cycle.... all of them OICW (m-23 i think?) and the M-8 are based on the G36 mechanism....
i would like to see the SiG series in there and the P90
1800+ 768MB ram 6600GT GF card have me sitting pretty, i can run high on everything if i so choose....
post upgrade (will be soon probably) will have 3500+ AMD 64 and 1.5 gigs in dual channel...

no, there is no sniper unlockable...most likely because there really isn't a better rifle out there than the M95...but I would have liked to see a M-14 sniper rifle up against the PKM with the bolt action being the unlock and a bit stronger....the M95 could have been the SF unlock...oh well 12/1/2005 7:36:11 PM |

WRAITH,

Funny because I still have my old computer and I have that exact setup. 1g ram +amd64 +x700 and it runs like crap on HIGH and MEDIUM settings on the graphics.
If you get it to run great on the high settings, do tell me how.12/2/2005 1:10:50 PM |
