Just saw a commercial for David's Bridal big sale. Select dresses for $99.00 and then others $50-$200 off I think is what the ad said!

It's a good jewelry site where you can design your own ring.

Well crap I don't think they have everything on their website though. You have two huge stores close to you if you are in Raleigh...the one on Capital is big and so is the one down in Smithfield which isn't that far and I mean it is huge! Good Luck

oh my GOD

This is an awesome sunscreen

But this is even better

Since I'm so pale, and want to keep it that way, I have a tube for in my car, and a tube by the door, so I remember to put some on before stepping outside.

WAAAAAAAY better than the first.

I dunno. What if it doesn't look good even if it fits?? Although how could a dress like that NOT look good?

the first dress is amaaaaaaaaaazing, brandi. i agree with christine, find a damn good tailor. honestly, if you can afford the dress and any tailoring that might go with it, that dress is gorgeous.

ncsuGALxcPaC, if you like that dress and aren't comfortable with purchasing online, try Victorian Rose Bridals on Glenwood - It seemed like they had several dresses resembling that style. Bridal Gallery at MacGregor Village had quite a few dresses similar to that one as well (if I'm remembering correctly, and I went there recently). Good luck!! And that is a pretty gown

Okay ladies...have any of you tried veet or nair for your hair remover? Is it really worth it? I'm going to be basically camping all summer and I'm looking for something that would be easier than a razor in a cramped nasty shower.

I have a bad allergic reaction to both Nair and Veet. They're too harsh and leave red bumps all over my legs without actually doing much to remove the hair.

^^^ Nair Pretty Hair Spray Removal is the first thing that I've tried that I wasn't allergic to, and it actually worked on my legs

it DID feel smoother than after shaving, but that lasted just as long as shaving did, so I'm probably just going to finish up the bottle I have and keep on with the razor.

i've always had luck with nair and veet. i've never had an allergic reaction to them, and they work pretty well for me. but my hair isn't very thick, it's fine. so i'm sure that makes a difference.

For the girls who run: do any of you wear running skirts? I bought the Adidas Supernova on a whim, but it quickly became the only thing I wanted to wear, so I just bought the Champion C9 from Target today.

The only problem is they are so expensive!

^ I imagine that Target or maybe a jewelry store could fix those right up for you.

On another note, I ripped my favorite pair of canvas flats (with silver skulls on the top!) when taking out the garbage tonight This is a sad day.

Quote :
"This wedding dress was made from a nylon parachute that saved the groom's life during World War II. Maj. Claude Hensinger, a B-29 pilot, and his crew, were returning from a bombing raid over Yowata, Japan, in August 1944 when their engine caught fire. The crew was forced to bail out. It was night and Major Hensinger landed on some rocks and suffered some minor injuries. During the night he used the parachute both as a pillow and a blanket. In the morning the crew was able to reassemble and were taken in by some friendly Chinese. He kept the parachute and used it as a way to propose to Ruth in 1947. He presented it to her and suggested she make a gown out of it for their wedding. "
