Question here

I just enrolled in grad school, and only taking 3 hours, I paid my fees based on those hours, but it says that I am not eligible, are tickets only for full time students or what?

you need to ask all campus....there may be another reason---for example, if you're a grad student who's tuition is fully comped by the university because you work for them, you're not eligible for tickets

hmm, it's my understanding that any fee paying student is eligible. This may sound weird, but when did you start classes? sometimes it takes a few days to process

but if you call all-campus they can tell you instantly and set your account if need be

So are you right or are they right?

my memory has failed me...lahyde, will the '83 and '74 Championship games be shown at the Maryland campout? Forgive me if that's an off-the-wall question, but I recall you saying it'd be shown somewhere...

I was going to show it...and it may still be shown if Scott does it (I gave him teh tapes)

but I'm going to be out of town...originally the campout was scheduled for last weekend, so no one told me that it had moved and I can't change my plans now

to the grad student. Go to the nc state ticket office...they can change your eligibility for you...as long as you show your a student and it shows ur in a class you can come to games...if the class is on campus then part of your fees are athletic fees so do what i said. later bro

how come it is not letting me print out my seton hall tix. I am the group leader of a small group of 4. It allows me to view my group members, but nowhere does it say to print.

if you didn't claim it's likely gone. If there's no link in "Your Tickets" or "Request Tickets", you're outta luck.

This is a most definite "no". Unless you claim your ticket, there is ZERO way to get a ticket at the gate regardless of anything.

that is the stupidest bullshit

if there are leftover tickets there should be a way to get them up until tipoff

i just accidentally hit cancel and there is no request link. i should be able to re-request my same ticket.

i had to rely on the kindness of TWWers to find a ticket to that game

good luck

and yes...since this is non-ACC, non-ranked opponent there will be a LOT of empty seats and the people who really want to go to the game will be stuck watching it on TV

i couldnt get a student ticket for the fucking UNCG game. UNC FUCKING G. HAD TO PAY TEN FUCKING DOLLARS TO WATCH STATE PLAY A FUCKING CUPCAKE GAME. i swear to god 2 years ago for florida state i got student tickets 5 minutes after the game started. just a swipe of the card. granted it was upper deck, but this is fucked up. count the leftovers and have them available up until 10 minutes or so after tipoff. christ.

i called the guy and asked what happens to my ticket.

'well if a ticket is cancelled after the on-demand then the athletics just does whatever they do with the tickets'

what a horrible, horrible system. makes me glad i paid my $30 for swpc, now i can just go pick a ticket up this afternoon.

maybe this has already been discussed but i didnt want to read through 36 pages....

When i registered for a ticket to the seton hall game tonite i chose to sit with a group. my group won seating. the other three members of the group are all sitting together. I am sitting in a totally different section. I am at full attendance status as is the other members of the group. The group leader's account even varifies that i registered with his unity ID. Why am I not sitting with my group?

The only thing I can figure is that you either used the wrong unity id as the group leader or you claimed after the initial claim period for those who won the lottery.

How does one go about filing an official complaint about the student ticketing policy? While I think that overall the online ticketing is a good change, especially with the penalties for missing games, let's sit and think a minute about what it means to be a college student. One of the core attributes of college students is that they make last minute decisions. Work schedules change, homework assigments and tests get moved - all allowing for last minute attendance of a basketball game. Oh the joy of finding out that your schedule has cleared so that you can make it to a home game to cheer on the Pack... but wait - you can't get a ticket after 5pm of the day before the game. What kind of sense does this make? I thought we were at a school known for engineering and innovation. How is it that we cannot figure out how to make student tickets available at the gate??? If online ticketing were allowed until right before the game, then not having tickets at the gate would sort of make sense - but they shut it down the NIGHT BEFORE... ok ok, I know we've already heard this complaint a million times, but I'm really bummed. Seriously though, does anyone know how to file a formal complaint?

One of the core things you're supposed to take away from college is responsibility. And planning ahead.

Yes, crap comes up, but you can't setup a system to work around those with random schedules and who wanna show up 5 mins. before the game and get it. You have to set up an organized system that allows those who plan to get seats. For every ticket they might "hold" for a straggler to show up, it's one less seat that could've gone to a student who planned ahead and wanted to attend the game.

People who plan ahead absolutely should get priority and should have the first pick of tickets. If all of the seats at the RBC are full, I would be happy to watch from home. But I know know that all of the seats will not be full, and that's the part that frustrates me. There are a lot of students who would show up last minute, fill a seat, probably be wearing red and cheering really loudly, who will not go to the game for $10 (college students are also typically poor or cheap).

Having tickets at the gate would not be applicable to sell out games.

^^ And I agree w/ that completely as well. I'm sure there's a way to do it, but it's not implemented in the system software.

And I can tell you right now why that logic will get you nowhere with anyone with power. Because they'll say that having the OPTION of getting a ticket at the gate will in turn make EVERYONE wait 'til the last minute, creating a clusterf*ck at the gate with students trying to get tickets.

Believe it or not, it'd be true. If you give students the option to procrastinate, 19/20 will. It's a no win situation; people will be upset either way.

^^I dont think 19 out of 20 will do it. I'd say maybe 5/20 would wait, but what you would have to do is say there are a "limited" number of tickets...usually less than 50-100 available at the game. That way you pretty much have to get your tickets the normal way, or you're not going to get one. It would be a clusterfuck for the first game or two, but as soon as the students found out that they would probably not get a ticket thatway, they would get on the ball to do it the right way. This would turn it into a last resort option for people who got fucked by the lottery, but still want to go the game.

Click on attendance history and see if you have been penalized for not going to a game. That could be the problem.

It doesn't have an penalties for basketball. The only penalty I have is for the MTSU game, which shouldn't affect basketball. Right?

I'm getting really tired of this.

Ok can someone help me out. I requested a ticket and last night it acted like it didn't have one requested for me. Now this morning it shows that I can claim the ticket, yet there is not one there. And I know there is no way that everyone could have claimed a ticket already if the claim period started at 3am...so what gives? And it says there are no more tickets available. Please help. Thanks.
