This season is frustrating as hell. As of right now I would rather not make the playoffs so that the players have a reason to play next year. It seems as though they have a "We did it last year, we dont need to play as hard" mentality. If they miss the playoffs, it may light a fire under there butts for next year.

(The points distribution seriously needs to change. If they're not going to do 3-2-1-0, maybe one point if you win in overtime and no points if you lose in overtime. That way it doesn't look like there's a conflict of interest.)

I guess it's not much difference really. Canes need to just win their games and if that happens we'll make it regardless. The maximum we can make is 92. I think Tampa is out of reach realistically since they're playing a Florida team with nothing to play for now. If the Rangers win, they'll be out of reach realistically as they'd only need two more points so we could not catch them. So those assumptions only leaves one spot to aim for. I'd just rather aim for two.

I was there (on the opposite side from that camera), but I've only ever seen two soundless cell phone videos that my friend got of two minutes of the brawl.

That's a decent angle, but because the camera's panning all over the place, you don't get to see that Cam grabs the front of Leighton's mask, snaps it on his face, then tips it off and starts wailing. Bonus points for getting his arm out of his chest protector so he could throw freely, Neil Little/Dan Cloutier-style.
