fsu is our divisional rival. a simple understanding of sports would tell you fsu winning hurts us more than unc winning. Rooting for a postponage of the game would also be fine. The only time its acceptable for an NCSU fan to root for FSU football is in a bowl game or if they are playing another team thats ahead of us in the division.

I always pull for my school's most hated rival to lose, but hey, what do I know

and even though a UNC win would technically help us in divisional standings, that doesn't mean you should pull for them to win

Seriously, get real. If FSU and us were competing for the number one spot, yeah I wouldn't root for them. But it's just pointless to root against FSU when a) they're playing UNC and b) we're not going to come anywhere close to a respectable finish this season.

The satisfying outcome is the tarholes lose a nationally televised game to an team that's an embarrassing shell of it's former self and drops to 4-3 (0-3).
