Yep, likely no AP. Holy hell, I got lucky picking up Gerhart Saturday. Someone picked him up week prior, then dropped him. I figured I better get him before add/drops were locked Sunday for rest of season.

So, Joique over Gerhart?

Definitely. Gerhart tweaked his hamstring on Sunday.

Benched Luck on Sunday and was only holding on to a 7 pt lead going into the Monday night game. My opponent had Murray, Jeffery, and Witten so I thought I was pretty much done for.

BUT I decided to start McCown, and everything turned out better than expected.

So, I've made the playoffs in all 3 of my leagues and have recouped $175 of my $225 investment. Would be nice to win all 3!

As the 2013 Fantasy Football season winds down, I have decided (yes I know it is a year in advance) that I would like to start a TWW Keeper league next year.

It would be a 12-team league on ESPN
1 division
ppr league
flex spot
2-3 keepers each year
$ entry fee to keep everyone interested.

Would anyone be up for that league?

ditto, i have the same problem except for +1 donald brown. ball is a good flex play, but i'd feel a lot better if bush or gerhart get a practice in.

i wouldn't trust a gimpy Gerhart in Minnesota's woeful offense. I'd only play him if Bush is out.

Pick two for PPR flex spots

Andre Brown vs Seattle
Jordy Nelson w/ Flynn likely starting again
Kennan Allen vs Denver
CJ Spiller vs Jax
Reggie Bush vs Arizona, injured

Leaning Brown and Allen.

Yeah, Allen is a must start.

out of the remaining...Bush SEEMS like a good option but Arizona is really stout against the run. I have him and will be debating what to do tomorrow as well.

Therefore, I may go Brown since Seattle's secondary is depleted...but tough call between those 2

Pick 2 RBs (1 pt. PPR):

MJD vs. Buffalo (definitely starting if healthy)
Ivory @Carolina
Blount @ Miami
Ellington @ Tennessee
D. Thomas vs. New England

I can also pick up someone like DeAngelo, TRich (dropped him earlier in the season), Todman (MJD's backup), McGahee (Chicago's run D is horrible) off waivers if I drop one of the 5 guys listed.

Same league, pick 2 WRs & flex (doubt I'll use any of the above RBs as a flex):

Torrey Smith @ Detroit
Roddy vs. Washington
Cooper @ Minnesota
Colston @ St. Louis

I'm thinking Colston is at least the odd one out since he isn't very good on the road.

Woodhead if your league is PPR, otherwise Brown.

Woodhead has, what, 8 or 9 touchdowns this year? The Chargers love to use him in redzone packages.

Just barely squeaked into the second round of playoffs, need advice.
Non-PPR league (except for TE)

RB - Pick 2
Andre Brown
Ray Rice
Gio Bernard

I've actually had Rice on the bench the past few weeks with Brown and Bernard starting as he's been a dud most of the year, but he's heating up and I think Gio is cooling off.

WR - Pick 1
Danny Amendola
Cordarrelle Patterson
Andre Holmes

Megatron has my other WR spot locked up, but opposite him Amendola is dinged up. Holmes was decent spot relief last week but I have trouble trusting Raiders players. Just picked up Patterson today as he was still a free agent after last week's breakout.

(Other starters - P. Rivers, C. Johnson, J. Witten, Charles Clay, Garrett Hartley, Bills D)

MJD no doubt then I would probably go (is Vereen available?) Ellington.

Cooper, Colston, and Smith...I dont trust White being 100% healthy yet.

Id go Rice and Brown

then Amendola. Philly has a decent D and the Raiders are random every week.

i think you gotta go vereen and bell, right? wouldn't want to start a spotty RB against seattle's run defense

and as for WR, I'm starting Keenan Allan, Desean JAckson and Josh Gordon. And on the latter, you really gotta ask? Dude is insane right now. great minds draft alike? I am iffy on marshall because cutler's coming back (right?)

Man, I kinda want to start Vereen over Moreno...chargers have been decent against the run (24th points allowed). vereen was on fire last week and goes against a softer miami defense

thoughts?

Cutler loves Marshall. You gotta start him.

Bench DeSean Jackson. Foles is going off, but he likes to spread the ball around.

Good point. And the Browns have one of the best corners in the league.

I guess it depends on whether they have Haden covering Marshall or Jeffrey.

News just came out that Garrett Graham won't be the starter for Houston (hamstring).

Who would you go with:

Tamme or Green tonight

or

Someone like Cook, Ertz, Chandler, Myers

Tamme for sure. He will take over slot duties for Welker.

Green was only plating when Eddie Royal was dinged up. With Royal back, Green is not a viable fantasy TE.

Just a quick note from Rotoworld a few mins ago,

Quote :
" The Denver Post reports TE Virgil Green, and not TE Jacob Tamme, will get the start in Wes Welker's (concussion) place in the slot against the Chargers.

It's a late-breaking wrench into the plans of tight end streamers. For all we know, Green will start, but the duo will rotate snaps. It was Tamme who filled in for Welker in Sunday's win over the Titans. Either way, it's enough to bump Tamme down in this week's tight end ranks, and should cause owners to reassess their plans if they're deciding between Tamme and another TE2 type. "

i'm kvitchng hard over the vereen vs. moreno pick.

moreno had an ankle last week and shoulder this. i'm anxious he could get rested a lot if the chargers fold to peyton.

with gronk out, vereen should be a huge target for brady.

risk the upside of vereen or the downside of moreno?

Pick 2

Green Ellis(v Pitt), Vincent Jackson(v 49ers), Kendall Wright(v Ari), Harry Douglas(v Redskins)

Was going to go with Green Ellis and Jackson at first thought but Wright v Ari without Honey Badger and Douglas v the redskins who have given up has me worried that one may pop off and Jackson get shut down.

^Is your league PPR? I like Wright in PPR but not sure if he or Nate Washington will draw Peterson. Think you gotta start VJax for the upside though, you know TB won't be able to run the ball against SF, so I could see Glennon forcing things to VJax.

Luck or Cutler? (will be my QB2)

I had planned to roll McCown if he was starting, but not sure how much rust Cutler will have. Also not sure what they'll do with Luck since they've already clinched a playoff spot.

A complete clusterfuck due to injuries last week for me at RB and flex in week 2 of our playoffs. I picked up 4 RBs off waivers this week since I was the only person in the playoffs with any meaningful free agent dollars to spend.

PPR league, start 3:

Eddie Lacy - pretty much a lock
Toby Gerhart
MJD
Jordan Toddman (MJD backup, probably starting today)
Chris Ogbanaya
Chris Ivory
Lamar Miller
Anquan Boldin

^Lacy, Ogbonnaya (going up against bad Bears run D), and comes down to Todman for me. Revis is gonna blanket either Boldin or Crabtree, and I'm not sure I'd like to take a chance. Todman will probably get a lot of touches against the Bills since the Jags have been playing well as of late.

I'm in the same boat, picking up a ton of RBs (current starters in bold):

MJD vs. Bills (he's probably out, I'd be starting otherwise)
Todman vs. Bills
Ellington @ Titans
DeAngelo vs. Jets
Ivory @ Panthers
Thomas vs. Patriots

Another league (2 RBs & flex):

Mendenhall @Titans
Brown vs. Texans
Bernard @ Steelers
Rainey vs. 49ers
AP vs. Eagles---would obviously start if playing
Gerhart vs. Eagles
Ridley @ Dolphins
Crabtree vs. 49ers
Walker vs. Cardinals
Tate @ Giants

That's what I currently have set. Lacy and Todman at RB and Ogbanaya at flex.

Just saw that Peterson will not play which could make Gerhart a decent option. I don't love the idea of starting Todman even though the Bills have been lousy against the run for the last month.

OK I give up, my team is just too good. Please help!!!

Starters in bold standard scoring, first round of the playoffs

QB (1)
Luck, Cutler

RB (2)
Charles, Gore, Bush, Tate, Gio

WR (3)
Green, Jeffrey, Decker, Torrey Smith

Flex (1)
Bush

TE (1)
G. Graham, Zach Miller (WW: Cook, Myers, Chandler, Wright, etc no one good)

I don't know if I trust Bush but Torrey Smith could sub into the flex spot on Monday night. Gore has been on the decline so I don't know if Tate or Gio should be there.

Dammit. I'd decided to ride Bernard over Rice since he's been better the last few weeks and the Lions' run def is ranked higher than the steelers. But this morning I notice that my opponent is starting Green-Ellis. If I start Bernard that could be great if he goes off, but if the law firm gets more carries, I'm fucked (and he's been vulturing all the goal line carries for a while--Bernard hasn't had a rushing TD since week 9 and one of any kind since week 10.)

Maybe starting Rice is the better move?

Well, Brown screwed me over. 26 total yards. Lamar Miller (who I wasn't even considering in the mix) would have been a better start than him. Also, Charles Clay, who's been money 3 of the past 4 weeks, did nothing. If Megatron doesn't have a big game I'm toast, and even then, Brees needs not to have a great day.

Ugh. Had to go with Andre Brown over Bush since I was afraid of getting screwed at game time with Bush with no one to plug in for him in the line-up that late.

Also had a friend convince me I was dumb for starting Foles over Brees and I listened.
