This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what he's going to waffle on. Mark my words.
His base will be left scratching their heads if he gets elected, asking themselves who they voted for.
But really, what, if any, of his half-explained policies are right-leaning anymore? He was only retardedly right on immigration. Sure, he says he'll undo the ACA, but we all know he won't be able to realistically touch it. What's left? He's only hawkish on ISIS, it seems like the rest of his foreign policy anti-interventionist. 8/25/2016 2:04:37 PM |

Well, you have to ask yourself, who is base? Sure, you've got the straight white male supremacists but that's a considerably smaller share of his supporters than you'd expect from watching his rallies. Nah, his real base are disaffected Republicans who have been tricked into voting against their own interests since the Reagan administration. These are people who've been told that if you let us cut taxes on the rich, pollute your environment, slash entitlements, deregulate everything, then we'll let you keep your guns and eventually prosperity will "trickle down".
Well, they still have their guns, but they lost their houses, retirement and their jobs have been shipped to China. So they, rightfully, revolted against the Republican establishment and turned to Trump. The problem is, while they blamed the right people, they haven't yet figured out that it's supply-side economics that have been fucking them over, which Trump is planning on continuing. 8/25/2016 2:36:50 PM |

Cam here to post about the new Hillary ad, but I see that's been taken care of. So after clicking links on a few different sites about the ad, came across these interesting clips:
3rd video here: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/chris-matthews-blasts-hillary-for-accurate-ku-klux-klan-ad-without-knowing-facts So KKK is recruiting in Virginia by dropping leaflets outside homes?
And please watch this video of a black pastor who supports Trump http://www.westernjournalism.com/black-pastor-supporting-trump-calls-clinton-kkk-ad-repulsive
Specifically, the part starting at 2:10 is the best... I was taken aback by that as I did not expect that. Interesting to see that massive crowd has blacks, Latinos, even East Asian origin Americans.
OK, I just realized the video is from when he spoke at the GOP convention. Anyway, does this black pastor really believe in what he saying there? I find it bizarre that he paints Trump as some humanist who cares for all lives. 8/26/2016 6:42:37 PM |

I have a question about his wall.
A wall sounds great, and it makes for nice soundbites for simpletons. However walls can be scaled, and tunnels can be dug. I'm just curious, has he even elaborated as to what kind of wall he wants to build? I'm sure we all here can agree that a wall will be just a huge waste of money and will be nothing more than a symbolic gesture, but do his supporters not get that?
Any Trump supporters out there? Why do you want him to build a wall? 8/29/2016 3:58:30 PM |

Regarding The Wall: I incidentally happened to catch a bit of Donald Trump on Sean Hannity's show one night last week. Trump was asked how high the wall would be. Someone (I don't think it was Trump, but I may be wrong) suggested a height of around 30 or 35 feet. Trump agreed this would be an appropriate height.
However, on that same damn show, another speaker mentioned that a lot (maybe even a majority? Not sure) of current illegal immigrants actually entered the country LEGALLY and have simply overstayed their visas.
I was hoping someone would call Trump out on this, pointing out "Your wall ain't gonna do shit to stop that". However, no one did (of course, this was Hannity's show, remember). 8/29/2016 8:56:51 PM |

That might be part of it, but you can't exclude every other high-profile gun related death in this country over the past 5 years or so that has generally heightened our sensitivity to the subject.
I mean a dude walks into a nightclub, guns down 50 people, and you're blaming Trump's insistence on terror being a real threat as to the reason people freak out over something that sounds like gunfire? That kinda sounds like a straw-man to me.
And I'm sorry if I "normalized" Trump here. That's why I feel like I have to begin every post with "I can't stand the man." 8/30/2016 9:24:55 AM |

Trump using his Trumpisms to add bombast to the same old policies we've seen all along doesn't make them different. A double fence is a lot like a wall, it doesn't really matter the point is that they want to build a physical boundary to help secure our border.
I also laugh when democrats say trump is scary because he will try to deport people because millions have been deported under obama. Are we securing the border or not? Are we deporting people or not? Which is it?
Trump says he will "bomb the shit out of isis" without regard for hurting their families or civilians. Meanwhile, thats exactly what Obama is doing and what Hill will certainly continue. Are we bombing isis or not?
I guess the choice is that you want people to build the wall and deport illegals while speaking politely about them. You want speeches about peace while hospitals are bombed behind the scenes.
The difference is you are looking solely at rhetoric and I am looking solely at results. Does that make me a troll or does it bring you so far out of your comfort zone that you rather not respond? 8/30/2016 3:43:45 PM |
