hehe thanks. I agree the shoes are not the best. They had actually requested we wear flats since it was a pretty bumpy backyard, but I wore some pretty sturdy wedges that stay put while drinking. But not the best look for the dress obvi.

I am guilty of this because I have never been good at hair and face things, and I love dresses. I am really trying to get better but it's a bit overwhelming to just say "I am going to learn how to do hair and makeup well" when I don't have many friends who are into those things and I don't really know where to start with internet tutorials or whatever. So I just keep saying I will learn sometime.

I feel that way about dressing myself sometimes too. And that's why I posted in here about "going out" outfits a few weeks ago and only learned that I really need to get over my hatred of skinny jeans.

I am the same way! I styled my hair and wore makeup 4 out of 5 days last week! And I celebrated!

I really think it's lacking though, when I don't. I can tell a huge difference, so I'm trying to get better about putting forth some effort.

i used to swear that my body wasn't built for skinny jeans but i found that i just needed to find the right brand and fit for my body type. Paige makes wonderful skinny jeans that come to the ankle and always fit and look great on me. they're definitely my go-to jeans.
