Tonight when I got home I checked the wiiseeker and all the dates had changed to the 17th. Interestingly enough, that is also when the next shipment of ps3's comes in, so all this stores are gonna be cluster fucks. I just called the supposed 10th suppliers and they all said they HIGHLY doubted that they'd have any tomorrow.

What I love is the fact the GameStop and EB tell people they won't ever get any till after Christmas, and yet I know for a fact that they get regular shipments of a couple everyday. So, thanks GameStop family for screwing over the gamers and selling them to your friends and relatives instead. I even saw them tell one kid they had none left and then they handed one over to some girl batting her eyelashes.

the component cables are back in stock on the nintendo website...i just ordered them.

burlington best buy and walmart had some nunchuks.

React ($24.99) and Griffin ($59.99) both make the cables and are sold in Best Buy - http://tinyurl.com/yff5vl

Last time I was in Best Buy they didn't have the cheaper cables in stock.

My mom actually asked if I wanted a Wii for Christmas. I already have a 360 but she was a big fan of Zelda back on NES and saw a commercial for it and offered. I'm tempted to take it as my Christmas present but I'm not completely sold on the system despite having played Wii Sports and enjoying it(still have the sore shoulder to prove it, haha).

Any games coming out(not Metroid, haven't liked it since the NES one) aside from Mario that might sway me to get this system?

N64:

PC:
Rome: total War, Call of Duty 1 & 2

XBox/360:
Halo 1 & 2, Dead Rising, EA games out the wazzoo


I use to be one of those Nintendo Fan Boys who wouldn't buy anything not associated with Nintendo, but then I moved to PS2 and eventually the XBox and got away from the Nintendo products.

I mean I know Mario Universe and Twilight Princess are going to be insanely good games. But most of the stuff I've seen coming out aside from those 2 so far seem to be kiddie games like little party game type things just showing off the new functionality.

Well, CoD 3 is on Wii, but it's much better on 360 from what I hear.

Metroid Prime 3 is worth a shot. It controls much more like a FPS according to IGN.
Madden's new controls for Wii were also well-received.
Of course, if you never owned a GC, you missed on a lot of fantastic games like Zelda: WW and Resident Evil 4.

I'm sure there's more, but I'm drawing a blank right now.
