just depends on your playing style. i enjoy team, especially when you A) get in a server that stays open for many rounds and play with the same people and use strategy or B) have your own party and use strategy.

I like being able to plan an assault or give someone a heads up and in return have your ass backed up when things get hairy.

I pretty much only do hardcore...


when I do regular team deathmatch I am usually gonna go ~20 to 30 kills and about 5 deaths... yes I am that badass with the RPD.


but I just enjoy hardcore so much more... even though I got like 15-8.. plus juggernaut fuckers in regular piss me off

some kid called me a n00b b.c i was using the W1200 to merc his team. I think the pump shottie takes considerable more skill to use then spraying a MP5 around or "point-n-clicking" with the M16.

I have realized that a ton of my deaths are from cooking a grenade to throw before I come into a room. I am pulling it out and holding it when they come running out and I can't do shit. Too many years of Halo, where I always chuck a grenade before going at a gun fight.

I had some guy bitching to no end about me using juggernaut. 1 found it funny for 2 reasons.

1)I'm pretty sure I didn't enter a code to unlock it, it's simply a part of the game. Something I think people need to realize, since it's not a glitch like hanging out above the door in pipeline, or certain buildings on ambush.

2)Him and his buddy were using it!! And hanging out in the aforementioned glitches!

One thing i haven't figured out on pipeline is how in the underground tunnels people get into this "hidden" hiding place in the pipes of one of the hallways.

yeah juggarnaut does not give that much of an advantage but it is frustrating as an 1337 player when you half to unload half a clip of a G3 into a person to kill him. The worst is when u are sniping or rolling with the shotgun against a juggern00b. With sniping you often don't get the chance to take that 2nd or 3rd shot and with the shotgun your life depends on the one hit blows in CQC.

jump and crouch at the same time to land on the pipeline lip, turn to face the other wall, and then lie flat. you can then crawl into the pipeline and go back to a crouching stance.

the tunnels are pretty clutch. most players never venture down there and thus i can use this to my advantage. pop out cap a few commies; run back underground and emerge on a different part of the map.

oh, it is...took me forever to beat it on Veteran and I still haven't beaten Mile High Club on veteran, though I haven't tried lately

the key about the infinite enemies is when you are about to kill the last of a wave of enemies, move up and allow your squad to move up as well...basically at many points, the enemies will respawn forever, until you reach a certain physical checkpoint

good news about Veteran is you can take your time...well except for No Fighting in the War Room...yeah, you'll loooove that one

that mission is such bs. it actually really easy after you do it once, but they got very cheap, and dirty with that mission. just don't give up on the game, you'll eventually figured it out. like the mile high club, you have to know and understand the scripted events and use them to your advantage.

^ they don't have infinite respawn no matter what anyone says. they have a huge number of respawns but they are finite. just remember you are pretty much the point man thorough the game so you have to lead (actually move forward), and this pushes enemies back and suppresses the respawn. i feel like i could beat it veteran and not die once right now.

^ Near the beginning of the game when you are in the room with the hundreds of TV sets with the speech running, it felt like infinite enemies. So one attempt I just basically ran half way up, took out a few guys, and then sprinted to where it appears their spawn point was, and they stopped spewing at that point.

he trick to that map on veteran (a shotgun is best in hand) is to sprint off the bat to the far right corner of the room where an elevator (or staircase maybe can't remember but you can't use it until the checkpoint clears, i think you'll be able to use it), and no one can spawn behind you, you have cover on three sides of you in a small area (be aware that they will thrown grenades in there so be on point to toss them back) and your men will run behind you to push them back, and you can look out of the small corridor and kill anything that gets close.

I saw someone mention Mile High Club on veteran, thought I'd share a tip I stumbled upon by accident. When/if you get to the last part, with the hostage, you've worked really hard to get there and you don't want to screw it up by missing the terrorist's head and/or hitting the hostage. To make it a LOT easier, as soon as you go into "slow-mo mode," start jumping, you can jump 2 or 3 times to get much closer and off to the left side a bit. It makes it super easy. Unfortunately I didn't find this out until I was playing through on an easier difficulty after I'd gotten the achievement.

^x4 Are you playing it on a console? I'm just curious b/c I've never had any problem capping the guy in Mile High Club. But one fun thing, if it's on the normal difficulty, you have just enough time to sprint up to the guy and melee him with about .6 secs left and he'll let go of the hostage and stumble around until you or your team ends up finishing him off.

Played about 8 matches tonight and my worst round was 27-9. Pretty much at 5:1 or 4:1 the whole time. Love those nights when you can't seem to miss. Annoying as hell when you go 38-3 on TDM and you still lose because the rest of the team was like 2-14, 4-11, 7-18, 11-25... not a single one even close to 1:1.

it took me a few rounds to get used to playing on a 60" HDTV versus the 20" 480p TV i am used to. Bout when i got used to it was when i pwned m2n on overgrown went 17-6

few rounds later i had 26 kills in vacants.

The big screen HDTV though is almost sensory overload at first.

got to play a lot last night and played pretty well. My K ratio took a pounding because we were playing a lot of domination and team tactical domination.


one round on Team Tactical Domination on the Shipment map...this guy on our team went 98:29. I dont know where the hell he was hiding but it was unbelievable.


i'm still having issues with my wireless and headset interference. Not sure what is going on there.

Yeah, playing on 360. I didn't have a problem with it either, just saying it would've been much easier and less pressure when trying to get the achievement. Just prestiged for the 3rd time last night. Damn this addictive game.
