McCain associated with Keating before he was known to be corrupt. The senate ethics committee who investigated found that McCain had no wrongdoing in the scandal.

He wasn't convicted due to botched evidence handling or some such. Never mind the fact that Ayers to this day still brags about the bombings he helped out with, isn't repentant, and wishes he could have done more.

Wright was a racist...for the longest time they swore up and down that there were a couple comments taken out of context and that had nothing to do with Obama (despite being his spiritual advisor for 2 decades)...it took 2 hours worth of video clips and more powerfully their own party to denounce him before they finally got some common sense...there simply isn't enough video evidence of Ayers talking about his terrorist motives to convince the left wing pundits to denounce him and therefore you literally have zero chance to ever convince them that the terrorist Bill Ayers was actually a terrorist

who's arguing he's not a terrorist? The problem comes when you label all terrorists as the same and lump then into this group of evildoers who "hate us for our freedom" or some bullshit like that. Guess who else was a terrorist besides Bill Ayers? The founding fathers for one, they used violence to achieve a political goal, as did Nelson Mandela and no one is going to denounce them. Again, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. People like to condemn and label persons/groups they don't identify with ideologically as terrorists but others they do identify with ideologically they like to call freedom fighters or patriots (such as the founding fathers)
