Alright I got a trade offer that I need some opinions on, so here is most of my roster

QB: Stafford and Eli Manning
RB: Rice, Fred Jackson, Blount, Felix Jones, Ingram
WR: Calvin Johnson, Jennings, Boldin, Decker, Washington
TE: Daniels, Fred Davis

Trade offer is Newton for either Rice or Jackson. I don't think there is any way I can make this trade, but he also has Foster, Beanie Wells, Miles Austin, and Hillis on his roster.

Personally I don't see any kind of trade that I could make that would benefit me enough to make it worth while, and he will most likely get the best out of any trade since he has Brees as his starter, but I wanted to run this by some people first before I shut it down.

Also, pick two to start this week:
Ingram vs Colts
Boldin @ Jax
Decker @ Miami
Washington vs Houston

Ingram and Boldin. Doesn't look like there is a deal to be done. I certainly wouldn't give up anyone on your roster at this point as Stafford is about on par with Newton fantasywise and they will likely have something to play for late in the season.

^^While Jones put up a decent fantasy score last week, he had one catch on only one target. You're right about the Jets, while Burleson had like 5 catches and several targets. If you are looking for the safe play I would go with Burleson but his upside is limited compared to the other two.

Thinking of offering the Jahvid Best owner in our league a trade. He's hurting at RB, with only Gore as his stud now. I need help at WR, so thinking of offering him Green Ellis and Mo Morris for Michael Bush & Jeremy Maclin. He's also got Steven Ridley. I have DMC. We'd both be set with handcuffs and I get a stud WR. Definitely stacked in my favor, but there is some good benefit for him.

Drawback is he gets weak at WR with only Roddy White left as a stud. I could offer for him I suppose, but may as well aim high and maybe he goes for it. Thoughts?

That is a tough one. You not giving him a lot at RB in the long term, so you may have to give up something at WR as well, if you have a decent WR 2/3 to offer.

OK, different kind of question

I asked a team that's 2-4 in my league, but last in points, what it would take to get Mendenhall from his team. He came back and said he'd take a 1 for 1 of Dez Bryant, Anquan Boldin, or Heyward-Bay as his receivers are struggling so bad...I feel like I'm getting the much better end of this deal no matter who I give him. My questions is would any of you veto this trade, and if so / not should I offer what I feel is a better receiver to avoid a backlash (sidenotes: I'm the commissioner of this league, and also 2-4)

If I were in your league I would be ok with Dez for Mendenhall, probably not so much for Boldin or Heyward-Bay. Sucks though, Mendenhall for Heyward-Bay or Boldin would be a steal

they might not give a shit because you guys are 2-4. Depends on how big of douchebags you have in your league.

^Yeah it's a tough one....I'm only starting Morris because Hillis is hurt. LT could totally blow up but I'm usually inclined to choose a lone starter, rather than a two-back team. That being said, I'm starting Tolbert only in the hopes he can get goal line work
