Yeah, the clock didn't start correctly, but UNC shouldn't really be punished for that, because they are playing on the floor with the information they have. It's kind of shitty to be punished because the game clock operator fucked up.

yeah, but the players shouldn't have to "calculate" for that on the fly. They should be able to look up at the clock and assume that it is correct.


It's a shitty way to end a game. The game clock operator prevented a last second play, and that's unfortunate for college basketball fans.

I have a problem with that. Players can only play to the clock. If the clock shows 1.6 they should play like there is 1.6 left.

First off yay!!

Secondly, Roy botched this big time. If it was Gott he would be getting crushed by the media and these boards. If they took a timeout after Iowa State scored they would've gotten .2 secs back on the clock and been able to set up something. Also, even if you don't take the timeout you can't dribble the ball to halfcourt. Lastly, how do you not get Paige the ball at the end? Did they forget his end of game magic?
