Sagnia will be 23 years old next season, it's not like he's some 19-20 year old kid. He's completely useless offensively (and not much better defensively) and did he get better at literally anything over course of the season?

Also fair. He pretty clearly got worse as the season went on. And was already playing professional ball in Spain. Probably not a shining example of a developmental project. He was never gonna be here 3-4 years.

My guess would be McNeil, Langdon (doubt he’ll play much/any but he’s a local kid and probably $cheap), and maybe Wilkins (ditto, unless he transfers somewhere else for more PT)? We also have the freshmen Cloer/Carter-Givens coming in. Otherwise just clean house on the rest of them and roll the dice on a new crew of benchwarmers, and maybe one or two won’t suck complete ass.

He went on to specifically call out Lubin, Copeland, and McNeil as players on the current team that best exemplified what they were going to look for in the portal. So, I'm sure between that and the blank check, McNeil will get over it .
