their group has had to deal with more than the main group

the main group is finding stuff around the beach and for the most part keeping to themselves

the back part of the plane group got mixed up in more serious stuff and had to fend more for themselves

Sounds like faggotry...

The Lost premise is an excellent one for having an excellent plot, but so far, the plot has been extremely lame.

I don't see how you can remove character development and plot though, the plot is the framework that holds and ties the characters together. It's dumb to consciously ignore one or the other. If you acknowledge that Lost isn't really about the plot, then it's like a reverse Soap Opera, and respectable people don't like soaps.

But, it does seem that the people who don't like Lost, don't like it because of the plot, and the people who like Lost, like it for the characters. I don't like Lost because of the plot, and I hate Charlie's character.

I've been really disappointed with how slow this season is moving. They're really dragging things out and not resolving anything.
