Everyone that gets LTR's get their seats..

Then the WPC sorts everyone that signs up for season tickets according to their points. Then those people get their seats in order. The level that you donate to for season tickets does not put you in the same that are for LTR's. (it's my understanding that just about all season tickets are in the corners and end zones, anyways) Those categories matter for LTR's only.

The points calculation for someone giving $120 for three years (this year =3rd year) puts them a shade ahead of someone who gives $599 this year. So you would have worse seats by a little bit, according to how the WPC sorts the seats.

The annual donation deadline is Dec 31st for thsi year. The deadline to count for points in football tickets is May 15th. So pay this year and then pay again before May 15th next year to get the emost bang per buck.

You can move up in rank pretty quickly as long as you keep up for five years or so. There's a lot of turnover in the bottom of the ranks. After that you kind of get into your spot in the queue and most of the people around you keep up by making the same donations.

thanks for the clear up.. and with all that being said let me ask this..

If most season tickets are in the corners/endzones would it not be more beneficial (if you have the income) to apply for a LTR in your donating zone thus almost certifying you have a seat on or near the 30 yard line each year (State Club Level) and paying off LTR license over the 10 year alloted time?
This is all assuming money is less of an issue than seating location of course.

I would only even consider LTR's if I know I'm going to live in NC for the next decade or so

Are you completely sure of this Jeepin ?

I'm not, and its the main reason why I prefer to do it on a game by game basis

If you know you;re gonna be around for a while, and you;re the kind of person who can go to the games and have fun even if the outlook of the team may not be great, then LTR's make good sense.

I've just finished paying my LTR's off, and I ha dseason tickets before that for a few years. I like having teh right to keep the same seats (but you can move LTR's around from year ot year if you want), and I paid less for the yearly donation with LTR's since the points didn't matter as much (parking only).

I wouldn't get your hopes up about being near the 30 yard line, though.

parking questions

1) how much do TX passes cost?
2) when do they mail them out?

You order and they are mailed with season tickets. No idea on single game, but I guess you should ask about it (most likely if you can get any parking it will be whatever is left over).

anyone heard any Michael Lemon news? If he doesn't enroll until the fall semester does that mean he can't practice until he enrolls (that's if he's still even coming of course).

penn state being #1 is also bullshit. they show up for football only.

having gone to hs in pennsylvania, i know plenty of kids that go to penn state and are way into psu football that go to nothing else. i know a girl that flew to the rose bowl that isn't really sure where their team even plays basketball.

having BC is much worse than having duke. at least duke has one sport to hang their hat on.

i guess BC has hockey, but i'm not sure how much that draws either.
