Becks to Spurs doesn't make any damn sense. And what happened to his whole "I'd only play for United in England" stance? And even though I don't think he has the pace for any team in the league - I think United would make more sense than Spurs with the injury to Valencia and Giggs/Scholes not being able to go every game.

MLS needs to put their foot down. I don't understand why they let Beckham make them look like bitches every single year... he shouldn't command that respect anymore

I think my stance is known on this issue, as I believe he'll fuck up some of the team chemistry with his "me me me" attitude. That being said, Lennon's final ball has just plain been off lately and Becks could at least provide some much needed service in the box for these guys when Lennon needs to rest or sub.

He better not pull rank on Bale with set pieces though or I'm gonna be

I don't think Beckham is that selfish of a player. Not on the field. In fact, he seems like he would be one of the best teammates you could possibly have. He works hard, is always looking for a pass and just seems like a generally good guy to have on your team.

That being said, he's probably too old and slow to play for any team in the EPL and his celebrity image can definitely be a distraction. Spurs don't really need that right now since they seem to be doing plenty well without him.

Ya know, I wouldn't mind seeing Rooney, Berbatov, and Hernandez on the field at the same time. Hernandez and Berbatov are scoring, but Rooney is just too good to not have in the team. That would be interesting to see but I don't know how it could be done.

I feel like he could play the advanced midfield role pretty well because he likes to stay active on defense and he can run all day or he could play a left wing type position and cut inside to rip shots from his strong foot like Messi, Ronaldo, Robben do. Plus he could find more space to run at the defense and if he's got two hot goalscorers up front then he would have plenty of chances to pick them out as well.
